She scrolled through her timeline and read through everyone's tweets, just for something to do.

"Hey girl come on we're at the hotel!" she heard Maribelle cry, opening her curtain. Jennifer grabbed her small suitcase from her bed, and slowly walked out of the bus, the last one to exit.

Several hours later, and Jennifer was settled in her hotel room, in between Justin and Anna's room. As she finally sat on her bed, book, notebook, and pen settled in her hand, she heard a knock on the door. She sighed and stood up to open her door, revealing a beaming Anna and Maribelle.

"What have you guys got planned?" she asked suspiciously. They both giggled.

"What??" she demanded, trying not to laugh at her friends' ridiculousness?

"Come on, Justin wants us to go rehearse for the concert performance." Maribelle said.

"Wait can I at least change first??" she asked, gesturing to her jeans and t-shirt. They both let out exasperated sighs and walked in Jennifer's room, giving her pointed looks.

"Give me two seconds." She said, and grabbed her workout clothes. As soon as she rushed off to the bathroom to change and throw her hair in a bun, Justin knocked on the door.

"Hey are you girls ready yet??" he asked a little impatiently.

"Yeah we're just waiting for Jennifer to get dressed." Maribelle said, putting her hair into her usual ponytail. Justin simply rolled his eyes and stalked off to gather the rest of the dancers.

Right after Justin left was when Jennifer came out of the bathroom, her usual grey home-cut t-shirt with black spaghetti strap underneath, with a pair of black sweats in replacement of her spandex pants, her hair in a bun at the top of her head. She grabbed her tennis shoes and socks and followed the girls to the hotel dance studio. Putting her shoes and socks on the way there, they were the last people in the room.

"Well look who finally decided to show up." He said grumpily. Maribelle and Anna took their places in the back, and Jennifer was up front, with Justin, Marvin, and other dancers from the previous tour. The music started, and they all moved in sync with each other. Not exactly the same movements, but similar moves that made them all look like they were moving as one.

During one particular difficult part, Justin was shouting out the steps, and Jennifer misplaced her foot, causing both her and Justin to fall.

"Can you watch your steps please??" he asked rudely as he got up. Jennifer flushed, embarrassed and mumbled a quick apology.

"Yeah, you better be sorry." He murmured, too low for anyone else but Jennifer to hear. She sighed, and helped herself up and positioned herself to where she was supposed to be.

The rest of rehearsal went uneventful, apart from snide comments from Justin that Jennifer knew were directed at her.

"Justiiin!" they heard, after a few hours in the studio. Every head turned to see Selena Gomez running in, heels clicking on the hardwood floor. As she passed, she took a good look at Jennifer, sized her up, rolled her eyes, and continued over to a beaming Justin.

"All right, everyone." He said "Take ten." And everybody, except for Anna and Jennifer filed out of the studio, for both girls had bought a water bottle beforehand.

"I'll be right back, girlie." Anna said, patting Jennifer on the shoulder. Jennifer nodded, and sat down on the floor, putting her head against the wall. She then realized that it was just her, Justin, and Selena in the room, with the two huddled in the middle of the dance floor embracing, Jennifer thought nothing of it, until Selena acknowledged her existence.

"Who's the Barbie?" she asked tauntingly, causing Jennifer to open her tired eyes and look at Selena. Jennifer scrunched her eyes in confusion. "Yes, I'm talking about you, Blondie. What's your name?"

"Jennifer." She replied reluctantly. Selena smiled in a rude way.

"Justin who is she?" she asked, never tearing her deep chocolate brown eyes away from Jennifer's crystal blue ones.

"She's nobody. Just one of my new dancers." Justin replied off-handedly, as he looked himself over in the mirror.

"Mmmm," Selena said. "Well, Miss Barbie. Looks like you've just jumped to the top of people I don't exactly enjoy their existence list. Congratulate yourself." And with that, she walked off, out of the studio, leaving a stunned Jennifer and a chuckling Justin in the dance studio. All that could register in Jennifer's mind was Great, another unearned enemy. How many am I gonna have by the end of this tour?
