If I went with you, it would have been dangerous, not just in the eyes of the Capitol, but in our personalities, we were to alike, which works well when your friends but note when your lovers. After prims death I needed someone to keep me grounded, after my mum left I needed someone who would always love me unconditionally. I needed someone to keep our children safe, sooner or later we would have been caught hunting, then what would happen, what would happen to our children. That is why I chose peeta.
