*your POV*
Just in the hallway, it was quiet and peaceful. You have your arms wrapped around your books, hugging them close to your chest, while whispering a catchy and familiar song. (Any song you want bro. For me is Drag me Down of One Direction)
Until someone pushed you, only to make you have a hard contact with the wall, then you heard a familiar giggle.
As you looked at the direction, only to see your one and only bully, Jessica. (Sorry for those whose name is Jessica)
"Well, well, well. Look who's here. The loser named (y/n)." She said with that wide signature smirk of hers. You let out a soft sigh, feeling irritated as ever that she does this every single day. "What do you want, Jessica?" You asked, picking up your books and standing up.
"Oh, what I want? I want you out of my way." She said sassily, waving a hand around. "I'm at the end of the corridor, and there is like, a lot of space around this hallway. You can like, just usher past me." You retorted as you glared softly at her. "Oh, great! The bitch is now talking back! You might not want me to be in a bad mood." She warned.
"Oooohh, I'm SO scared." You said sarcastically, mimicking as you rolled your eyes. You can see that you made her ticked off.
"Oh, you will regret that." She said, gritting her teeth, as she walked towards you, hands balled up into fists.
You slightly flinched, backing up but then the wall gave a friendly dead end to you. You closed your eyes tight, bracing for yourself.
Then in a long moment, nothing came.
You slowly, and carefully opened one eye. You saw that Jessica's hand was stopped by someone, she, being held on by her wrist as tight as possible.
It was the popular kid in school, Kai. That boy who had weird messed up hair, which you find it uncertainly cute. And also A.K.A.
Your crush.
"What do you think your doing?" The boy asked, as he raised a brow at Jessica, softly glaring.
Well thank you Kai , you thought as you let out a soft sigh in relief.
"K-Kai! Oh, this girl! She was b-being a bitch to me! I didn't mean it babe I-I--"
"I saw the whole thing, and DO NOT call me 'babe'. It's not like we're in a process of a relationship!" Kai slightly raised his voice up, as he let go of her wrist, crossing his arms.
Jessica was very speechless. She was trying to find a word, but can't. It didn't take long until she gave up, letting out a huff before storming away.
You just sighed softly, shaking your head, muttering things to yourself.
"Hey, are you alright?" A voice came up, who put a hand by your shoulder. Your eyes slightly widened, as you looked up at the person. It was Kai again.
A small blush formed on your cheeks when you realised you were staring. You snapped out of any random thoughts coming to your mind, then looked back at him. "U-uh.." you managed to blurt out. "Y-yeah I'm fine."
"Are you sure?" He asked again as he gave a kind smile, a smile who would make any girl melt and squeal loudly. But you, you don't squeal like those anime school girls out there.
"Yup." You nodded, smiling back at him. Kai, believing you, nodded. "Alright. Whatever you say. I'm not gonna force you to tell me." He shrugged. "So. (Y/N) is it?" He asked, tilting his head to the side, looking at you. You blushed slightly, flattered and surprised as well that he knew your name even though you don't hang out.
"Yup, you got that right." You nodded. "Kai, right? You're the popular kid in this school." You said. "Yeah, that's right." He grinned.
"Kai! Get your ass here!" A voice from afar yelled, a lot of footsteps coming to you and Kai's direction. "Oh hell no..welp! Gotta go now (y/n)! Let's meet again tomorrow outside in the park! Bye!" He said in a rush quickly running off.
Four figures passed by you, one saying, "Hey there purrty lady! And bye sugar plum!" The one in a blue hoodie, with brunette hair winked at you and gave a hand-gun gesture. Then one in a white hoodie with light blonde hair spoke, passing by you as well. "Jay, you might want to be aware of how many girls you've been complimenting. That is very inappropriate." Then rantings went on.
The four of those figures turned right to where Kai went, leaving you confused.
You just shrugged and smiled, enjoying the now peaceful surroundings. You're not saying that you didn't like Kai blabbering by your side, you liked his company.
Wait.
Scratch that.
You LOVED his company.
You sighed softly to yourself, walking back to where your class was, but then of course fearing your Math class.
