Overcoming My 7th Fear

1: Teach Me

Tris

Last month  I finally became a dauntless member and completed Initiation. I'm glad that's done and over with. I thought I wasn't going to make it, but I did.

I also picked my Job as a tattoo artist, I don't know if I'll be an instructor with Tobias when initiation comes around.

I mean, I would like to but I don't know if I can handle all these initiates. I know Tobias can, but I don't think I can.

I walk down a hallway in Dauntless, but I see Christina up ahead. She's talking to a dauntless girl, I walk up behind her and touch her shoulder.

She turns around and then smiles at me. "Hey." She says. She finishes talking up with the dauntless girl and walks over to me. "Hey, how was work today?"

"Good, I'm just happy it's Friday." I say. She nods at me. "Me too."

I yawn again due to how tired I am. By the end of the week everyone is tired. I just need more sleep, this weekend.

"I'm going to head back to my apartment, I'll see you later." I say. Christina nods and I head off.

When I finally walk inside our apartment, I take my jacket off and set it down on the couch. I walk over to rn little counter and where our mini fridge is and look for a canister of water.

We don't have kitchens in dauntless, well except for the cafeteria. In Abnegation we had kitchens of course, we would cook our own food. In dauntless, we don't if we want food we go to the cafeteria.

I take the water canister out from the fridge. The cold metal touching my warm hands; giving me chills. I open the cap and let the cold substance into my mouth and I swallow it; feeling refreshed.

I hear a door open and I snap my neck back realizing its Tobias who just walked in. He sighs and plops himself down onto the couch. He seems stressed, lately at work he has been stressed.

I set the water canister down on the counter and I walk over to the couch and sit down next to him. I lay my head on his shoulder; I watch his chest breathe up and down. "Hard day at work?" I ask.

He nods at me and then looks down at the floor. "I'm sorry, I wish I could make you feel better." I blush, at the statement I made. It did not come out, the way I wanted it to. Tobias turns his head at me and smirks. "What are you inferring Tris?"

I just look at him shocked. "I... I honestly don't know. It... It didn't come out the way I wanted-" he cuts me off. "It's fine Tris, I know what you actually meant. Im just messing with you."

Yep, that's my gorgeous Tobias Eaton.

Later, we decided to head down to the cafeteria to eat dinner. We look around the room trying to find our friends. In the distance I see Christina wave at me; letting us know where they are sitting.

I sit down on the bench to Christina and Tobias sits down on the other side of me." So this pansycake at lunch today, threw his sandwich at me. I was sure it was a initiate from this year." Uriah pleases. "Uriah please, your the only one who calls anyone pansycake." Christina says.

"No I don't. I'm sure there are other people that says that word." All of us look at Uriah like he's crazy. Then we all start laughing.

I plop a French fry into my mouth. "So you and Will's one year anniversary is tomorrow?" I say. Christina smiles at me. Then Will puts his arm around me. "Yep, one year."

"Well congrats guys. I'm happy for you."

"Thanks, so have you and Four did it yet?" Christina wiggles her eyebrows. Oh no, she talks about this all the time. She always has to talk with me about this all the time.

"No Christina." I sigh. "Oh come on, Tris your seventeen. You have to do it." Christina says. I frown. Why am I so not experienced? "Christina, I'm just not ready."

"Tris I know your ready, you have to be." I feel like I have been punched in the stomach. I'm so not like the other girls. "What's going on?" Tobias asks. I set my napkin on the table. "I done eating."

Then I run out of the cafeteria.

I sit on the window still, looking out of the window. The moonlight shines throughout the window; sighing.

"What happened back there?" Tobias snaps. I turn around and see Tobias leaning against the door frame. "It's nothing." I say wiping a tear off my face.

Tobias walks over to me and sits down next to me on the window sill. "Tris I know it's nothing, your upset." I just shake my head at him, I don't want to talk about it.

"Tris, baby please say something." Tobias softly says. I burry my face in his chest and he rubs his hand up and down my back. "I'm not pretty Tobias, neither is my body."

"Tris what are you talking about?" Your breath taking. Your so beautiful." Tobias says. "But I can't give you what you want."

Tobias looks shocked at me when I said that. "What sex?" He asks. I nod at him and he cups my face. "Tris, I'll wait for you when your ready. Don't forget I'm new at this too."

"Then teach me. Teach me to get over this fear. I want too." I whisper. Tobias smiles at me, but he looks unsure at first. "You want me to teach you?"

"Yes, day by day, night by night. I don't want to be scared of intimacy anymore." I say. He kisses my cheek. "If you want to, then we will."

He fits his mouth to mine. Our lips moving in sync. We kiss there for awhile, it'll Tobias pulls me into his lap. "How about we practice different positions while kissing?"

I raise my eyebrow at him. "Not in sex." Tobias laughs. I laugh back at him and then I nod. "Okay."

I wrap my legs around his waist and Tobias hand is on my back. He fits his mouth to mine again, but this time we kiss harder.

I'm going to try to conquer this fear.
