The Gift And The Recomendation

Chapter 3

I've been walking into the woods ever since I heard a girl screaming and begging for help. I've been following her squeal and cries for hours but it seems that I'm still from where she is. Each trees I pass the screams grew louder and louder but there's still no sign of the girl that I've been searching.

Then I was welcomed by a cabin in the middle of the woods. You can determine how old it was for it's beginning to deteriorate. I was going to walk pass by but then I heard the a voice.

"Rebecca... "

I look back at the cabin once more but I was shocked when a saw a faceless figure wearing a white dress standing at its doorway.

"Rebecca what are you doing in here?"

I then started to back away but it seems that my feet are glued to the ground. I then look at the figure once more but this time it's becoming to get closer.

"Rebecca talk to me" It said. As it comes closer to me, the figure beginning to form a face. I was now with it face to face but then I realize who this was.

"Mamma?"

"Rebecca what are doing outside" She said to me. I was them puzzled at her words but as I look at my environment it suddenly changes. I was now in our own garden.

"What am I doing in here mother?" I ask her when I was finally able to gather all my thoughts. 'That can't be just a dream' I said to myself but the way my mother looks at me it's already confirmed that I was under a dream.

"You were sleepwalking Rebecca, the maids only alerted me that's why I was able to find you. What is happening to you now?"

I then tried to find any words to answer her questions but only came with none.

"Come, let's just get inside. It's nearly sunrise" She said to me while taking my hand. Walking inside, my mind was still blank on what just happened to me. I can't quite comprehend how this have slip out of my very senses, this never happened before.

"Rebecca darling tell me, what was your dream about? Is it like the previous ones?" She worriedly ask. I just shake my head in disagreement and she sigh while taking to a nearby chair. I then just put my gaze downwards, ashamed of what is happening to me. This is the first time I let my dream take over my body but I never thought this will happen. Waking up standing and crying in my bedroom was still acceptable to me because this was always brought by stress but sleepwalking? This is beginning to be 'Out of Hand'

"I'm calling Lucas" She with determination in her voice. I then look up to her with wide eyes and stood up.

"Mamma, Lucas doesn't have to know about this, he already gave me a high dose of sleeping pills to help me. I'll just call him to increase it again but please don't tell him it's getting worse" I said while walking towards her. She ignored my pleads and continue to dial him. Defeated I run where my bedroom is and lock my door several minutes later, I hear her knocking.

"GO AWAY!....PLEASE LEAVE ME BE!" I shout at her. I know I don't mean what I've just said to her but I can't neglect the hurt I am feeling at this very moment. I then hear the door lock clicking meaning that she already have the key to my room and opened it.

"I know you hated whenever I always interfere with your problems but Rebecca I can't pretend that I still don't know what's happening to you" She explained but I still didn't look at her. "Rebecca please look at me. Whenever I came to visit here, I'm always praying that you would never have those dreams again but up to now nothing changes. In fact, it getting worse and I'm beginning to be afraid that one day if i still didn't do anything for you, I might lost you forever"
