Strings Stitched 2 Broken Souls- Chapter 1

Nandini reached office and was working on her desk, when the next person sitting there asked her," Aj koi new boss aa rahe hai maine sunna hai..kuch pata hai kya??"
"Nahi i don't know anything but whatever, boss is new na.. kaam to same hai and post bhi so why to fear" replied innocent smart nandini.
"Tumhe kya tum to waise bhi last year se Employee of the months jeette aayi ho.. par hum.. dekho wahi ke wahi" Replied the other colleague sitting left of her.
"Aisa kuch nahi hai.. vo to bas aise hi"Replied Nandini.

Manik entered the office, a tall handsome, perfectly dresses up in a black armaani suit, perfect gelled hairs, and proper physic, entered with his all time attitude, and smirk on his face. The one who knows, who is he, they greet him by getting up from their chairs and wishing him "Good morning sir" He didn't replied anything and left for his cabin.
He took his responsibilities and started working from that day itself. He called his PA, Neeharika to get the reminders of today's Conference. She narrated the list and said, "Welcome Sir, and please walk to the conference hall, there is a small get together for welcoming you by our seniors.
He just said okay and she left.

After some work her headed towards Conference room. He entered and saw that everyone is with a bouquet of flowers and a big 'Welcome' was written on white board. Seeing this he raised his eyebrows and nodded his head in disbelief.
Everyone in unison wished him, "Welcome Manik Sir"

Even Nandini was also there as she was Senior Executive, under guidance of Manik Only, including aomeq other colleagues too.
"Listen, i don't like all these welcoming session, you and me are here ro work not for these stupid welcoming session. If you all are done with this, get back to your work.Before that Let me introduce you, I am Manik Malhotra, your new boss. This is enough for you people to know." Replied the Angry Hulk Manik in his most famous angry face.

Everyone chuckled and lowered there heads, after that they all left for there respective work. He too left for his cabin.

"Kitna khadus hai ye new boss, ek to welcome kiya.. upar se itna attitude.." said one of the employee to Nandini.
"Khadus nai, but its ok.. after he is our boss, to he will wear his attitude na.."Said Nandini as she was not affected by his rude talks.

They chuckled and pull up there socks and started to work which they left for welcoming their so cool or else not so cool boss.

He too worked and in evening, by 6:30 the signing off time. Everyone packed their bags and left from office. She too left and reached her home by Bus. Yes, though she has her car, but she prefer bus or sometimes taxi, because she believes that wasting money for immaterial things when we can travel at a cheaper rate, so why not. She is not kanjus type girls but she is like this only. Office was just 20mins away from her house. So she prefers Bus or Taxi.

This is was the routine which continued for next 2 weeks.

One fine day, morning 8:00
Nandini was entering the gate, when she bumped into a girl, the girl shouted, "Dekh kar nahi chal sakti kya.. you dumb creature.."
"Im sorry.. but behave.." replied nandini.
"Ohh.. you the dumb creature, primarily you were walking like in a garden, have some manners and get some lessons how to walk.. and behave my foot." replied the girl totally in anger.
Before she could say anything, someone called her from nandini's back.
"Aliya.. come let's go.. what are you doing?"
Nandini turned and saw manik was calling her.
"Ahh Baby.. vo this dumb creature, don't know how to walk and lessoning me." replied aliya..
"Good Morning Sir" nandini wished him ignoring aliya
" Ohh so you are his employee.." angrily aliya asked.
"Leave this.. Come lets go" Manik held aliya's waist and dragged her inside the office.
"Aayiappaa.. subh subh.. apko kya aap to maze le rahe honge na.. pls aage ka dik acha jaye..Aur vo... haa aliya.. aayi badi mujhe kehne wali.. khud phone me busy thi.. aur mujhe bolke gayi..Aayiappa kaise kaise log mil rahr hai.. thofa dhyan do.." praying she entered the office.

11:30, Conference room.
Everyone was present in the room, including Manik. The conference was going on for the new project.

"You people are called here for the upcoming new project of our enterprise, and i want the best candidate to work with me for this new project. That candidate will be choosen by me on the basis of one dummy presentation which you people will be presenting 2mrw at the same time. The detailed information will be given by Neeharika she will explain you the required material and according to that you people will be preparing the presentation and after watching them I'll select 2 best candidate from them, who will be working with me for next 4months. I hope you all are clear with the things. So I'll take leave and if any query contact Neeharika.All the Best."
He explained them and wishing them, he left for his cabin.

She started her work in next moment, and the others started with their rantings, gossip for him.
"Kitna rude hai ye.. itna attitude, aise koi baat karta hai kya.. " said priya, sitting next to nandini.
"Aur isse dekho.. isse koi farak hi nai padta.." said another employee pointing towards nandini.

"Guys, kaam kare.. kal present karna hai.." replied nandini.
They chuckled and started their work.
Manik's PA came near Nandini and said, "Nandini, Sir wants to hv a word with you.. so head towards the cabin."
Saying this she left baffled nandini.
"Aayioo aayiappa.. maine kya kiya.. kahi subh wali baat pe gussa hai kya?? let's see.. aayiappa bacha lena, warna aj main yaha se bahar ya fir kal meri presentation bahar.."
Praying to her Aayiappa she knocked his door.
"Come in" said manik engrossed in files.
"Sir, Nandini Murthy here.." Entering she introduce herself as he don't know any1's name.
"Ohh.. you.." he said in higher tone as he raised his head to see her.
"Umm.. I am sorry sir vo.." nandini started to explain but manik cutted her, "I don't need any explanation, you are working here so just professional talks." ordered Manik.
"Okay sir" replied nandini
"Better.. i heard about you, about ur academics and other educational things. so i hope your presentation will have something unique. So here you go, these are some of the files which you will need refer these and prepare from it. " handling some project files he informed her.
"But sir this.. i mean only to me.."asked nandini.
"Hello.. you are not the special one.. i am giving to the deserved ones, moreover i don't need to explain.. take this and get back to ur work."Ordered manik a bit rude tone.
She scared and left.
"Kya aayiappa.. itna gussa koi karta hai kya.. Kabi to smile de do isse.. jabse aya hai bas yahi same face, monster.." nandini complained about manik to her aayiappa while getting back to her seat. " Chalo shuru ho jaoo.."
Everyone did their work and soon it was 6:30 leaving time, but nandini wae still working. Manik too was in office as he don't wanna go home, cos there is no one waiting for him.

It was 8:00, when he left from the cabin and saw someone was still working.He headed towards the desk and found nandini working.
"You still here??" asked manik
Nandini surprisingly raised her head to see who is there, "Sir.. yaa.. vo actually bas, was going through the presentation last time.." she replied hesitatingly.
"Fine.. " he said and left.

Soon both left, she went back to her home and he, ahh he even don't know where he was going.
