Lani

"Okay.." I said.

"What if we like kissed or something in front of Luke, and see how he reacts. If he gets all jealous, he probably likes you, and if he doesn't care then he doesn't. Luke is a pretty jealous guy." Michael suggested.

"We've known each other for like an hour, I mean, I don't see the logic here." I said.

"Luke catches feelings so quickly. I'm like his best friend, I know when he's into someone. I just want to mess around and see how he'll react." Michael explained.

"I do like messing with people. I'm down." I gave in.

"Good," he laughed, "After the concert we'll meet up."

"Sounds good." I nodded.

Ashton and Sofi approached us with beaming smiles.

"Are you ready for security to take you into the pit?" Ashton asked.

"Yeah." I answered, as some security guy took Sofi and I through the hall.

"There's so many people.." Sofi said, as we walked through the doors into the arena.

As the security man moved us through the pit of fans, we got so many rude comments and nasty looks.

When we got to the front of the pit we thanked the guard, and looked up. We were right against the stage.

"This is awesome, Lani!" Sofi smiled at me.

"I know." I smiled back.

"Why did you guys get escorted up here?" Some girl asked us, with a bitchy tone hinting in her voice.

"We're friends of the band." Sofi gave her a sarcastic smile.

"Sure you are." She laughed.

"Jealous, much?" I mumbled, and she heard me.

"At least I don't lie about meeting the boys.." She laughed.

"I'm literally dating Luke Hemmings." I blurted out.

No no no no. Why did I say that?

"I bet." She scoffed, sarcastically.

I opened my phone to try to distract myself from wanting to swing right at her jaw.

I was scrolling through my contacts to try to find someone to text, when I saw a contact number with Luke's name.

Lukey the penguin :-)

He must've put his number in while he was looking for directions on my phone. I couldn't help but smile.

The boys walked out on stage and the crowd went ballistic.

I don't even think they realize how famous they are.

As I watched them on stage, I couldn't help but admire their beauty. Luke was up there playing and singing, and I swear to God, I fell in love just looking at him.

Falling in love is a little bit of an overstatement, but really though. He looked like a god up there. I couldn't take my eyes off of him.

After the concert, Sofi and I slowly shuffled our way out of the venue, with the rest of the pit.

Once we were outside, I took a drink of water, and Sofi and I sat on the curb, in total PCD.

"Are we going to go back and see them?" Sofi asked, after about ten minutes of fangirling about the concert.

"Yeah, of course. We have passes to go backstage, remember?" I told her, and gestures toward the VIP passes that they gave us.

"Why did we come outside then?" She asked.

"I don't know, Sofi. I need some air." I held my head, and massaged my right temple.

"Are you okay, Lani?" She asked, looking at me with a worried face.

"I'm fine. It's just.." I laughed a little, "Doesn't it feel a little strange that they actually talked to us and hung out with us?"

"Strange? This is the best day of my life! It's not strange!" Sofi said.

"I don't know. I mean like, they could just be leading us on. You know me, and you know how I fall for guys easily. We Luke before we even met him. Now that I actually have met him, it's like, I don't know what to feel. It's surreal. We are living a fan girl's dream right now." I spilled out my thoughts to her.

"Are you high or something?" She asked, and I laughed.

"No, Sofi. Let's go inside. I've done enough thinking for tonight." I took her hand and we walked back inside the venue, and found our way to the VIP meet and greet line.

The boys were in front of a backdrop, taking pictures with fans. I admired them, hoping that none of them noticed us walk in so that I could stare as long as possible.

As soon as my eyes locked with Luke's, my stomach flipped. He quickly looked back at the camera, which was snapping a picture of the band with two little girls.

"Let's get in line, Sof." I said, and we walked to the end of the line.

"We should take a picture with them like getting piggy back rides and kissing their cheeks." Sofi laughed.

"Yeah." I smiled, imagining us in their arms.

"This is so weird. You're, like, nervous. I've never seen you like this." Sofi noticed.

"I know. I think I'm just tired. A lot happened today. I'm super happy, I'm just overwhelmed a little." I laughed, and her face lifted into a smile.

"This is our dream." She said.

It really is.
