Chapter 2: Daddy Jiyong

"Right. You have something against it, Kwon Jiyong?"

"N-no... I mean... Of course your welcome here, noona. Feel at home," Jiyong said helplessly before excusing himself. He kisses Dara on her cheek and backed away.

"I'll just go check the kids upstairs. They're going to wake up soon."

"Sure. We'll get dinner prepared." Dara said and soon she was taking her bestfriend back to the kitchen.

"Yongdu po-po!" Yongse sleepily opened his arms, asking Yongdu to kiss him when he saw his hyungs already up and playing. The second eldest knelt down and was about to kiss him but when Yongse was already pouting, he backed away.

"No no no!" he waved his finger no as he giggled and ran away making the maknae rub his eyes and frown.

"Yong il!!! Popo!" he whined at the eldest and soon he felt a smooch on his lips. The two giggled and Yongse sat up, as if receiving an energy boost from his brother.

"Yongte hug!" Yong il opened his arms and in no time, Yongse was hugging him back but the two let out an excited scream when Yongdu joined them making them all tumble down the mattress.

The triplets were still giggling joyfully, lost in their own little world when the door creaked open revealing a man in a red cape.

"It's not a bird, it's not a plane, it's... "

"Huh?" the three all stood up and turned towards the door and they all grinned widely when they recognized the man hiding behind his cape.

"TOOOPEEEERRMAAAN!!!" they all jumped up and down with excitement. Jiyong couldn't help but laugh at his sons scrambling on their feet towards him.

"APPAAAAA!!!" the tree jumped up and down.

"Appa hold me juteyo!" Yong il said as he tried to reach out to him. Jiyong quickly crouched down and held his sons in a tight hug.

"You gotta kiss me first. Where's my kiss?" he asked and it didn't take the triplets to return his request. He almost stumbled down laughing as the trio rained kisses on his face.

"Arrrrgh! Got my energy boost!" He was making all sorts of faces as he struggled to carry the boys up in his arms. "Waaah. Yong il, Yongdu and Yongse are so heavy now. Did you eat a lot today?"

"Neh!"

"Aigoo..." Jiyong was almost breathless when he reached the hallway. "You all slept well and didn't give eomma a hard time?"

"Neh!!!"

"No, Yongte was crying, " Yongdu revealed.

"Why, Yongse-ah?"

"I miss halmeoni and halabeoji..." the youngest said leaving him guilty once more for suddenly cancelling their trip.

"Ah... Please forgive appa for cancelling our trip. But don't worry, from now own we will be spending more time together, "

"Weally? " Yongse asked which Jiyong answered with a nod.

"Of course. When did appa lie to you? Ahhh... one more thing... Do you guys wanna see eomma at work again? Because eomma will be on the magazine." Jiyong told the boys as if they could understand everything he was talking about. "Eomma is pretty like that so the magazine wants her to be on cover."

Jiyong noticed the kids fell silent after a while of blabbering things which he realized might be incoherent for them. He smiled and decided to just leave it for now. He has not even told Dara yet about it and he was hoping to surprise her wife with the good news.
