The Standard

Don't come anywhere near me.
You were never on my level to begin with.

We're not equals.
Different class, different standards, different everything.

So don't embarrass yourself trying to compete with me.
Know your place before you challenge someone you can't reach.

You've got nothing but empty confidence,
no substance, no value, no class.
You walk around like you're somebody,
when honestly, you're barely worth noticing.

Your style is tacky.
Your face is forgettable.
Your attitude is embarrassing.
And everything about you screams cheap.

You copy the attitude.
You imitate the style.
You borrow the confidence.
But you can never copy the presence.

You can dress like me.
You can talk like me.
You can try to move like me.
But you'll always look like a cheap imitation.

You want to stand beside me?
Earn your place first.
Because being near me isn't a privilege you deserve.

You want to compete with me?
That's adorable.

Actually, i'm not afraid of competition.
I'm just disappointed that this is what you call competition.

Before you challenge me,
make sure you actually have something worth challenging me with.

Because I don't compete with people beneath me.
I leave them behind.

You call yourself my rival,
but a rival should at least be a threat.

You're not.

You're just background noise
desperately trying to become the main character.

Don't confuse attention with importance.
People may look at you,
but that doesn't mean they admire you.

And don't confuse confidence with superiority.
Confidence means knowing your worth.
You simply have an ego bigger than anything you actually have to offer.

You need people to notice you.
I walk in, and people notice.

You need to tell everyone you're better.
I don't need to say a word.

That's the difference between us.

You chase the spotlight.
I naturally stand in it.

You chase approval.
I set the standard.

You try to follow the trend.
I become the reason people follow it.

Don't mistake my silence for weakness.
I simply don't waste my time arguing with people beneath my standards.

So keep dreaming.
Keep pretending.
Keep telling yourself that one day you'll catch up.

But reality is going to hurt.

You're not behind me because you haven't tried hard enough.

You're behind me because we were never playing the same game.

Stay in your lane.
Stay in your place.
And stop reaching for something that's clearly out of your league.

You can't outshine me.
You can't replace me.
You can't imitate me.
And you definitely can't become me.

So keep watching from a distance.

Because the closest you'll ever get to my level
is looking up at it.

Anyway, I think we've wasted enough time here.

There's nothing left to discuss,
because we're clearly not on the same level.
