I'm going to marry him

The music was loud enough to shake the walls.

Bass thundered through the private party lounge, glasses clinked continuously, and laughter echoed from every corner. The room was filled with expensive suits, ridiculous party hats, half-empty bottles, and a group of friends who had apparently decided that tonight was the perfect night to forget every responsibility they had.

And right in the middle of it all stood Kim Taehyung.

The groom.

The man of the night.

And, unfortunately for everyone around him, the drunkest person in the entire room.

"Taehyung!"

J-Hope practically shouted over the music.

Taehyung turned around with a wide grin.

"What?"

"You need to stop drinking."

Taehyung stared at him for a second.

Then he laughed.

"Why?"

"Because you've already had enough!"

"I haven't."

"You absolutely have!"

Taehyung lifted the glass in his hand and looked at it thoughtfully.

"This?"

"Yes, that!"

Taehyung shrugged.

"It's only my..."

He counted on his fingers.

"One..."

He frowned.

"Two..."

He tried again.

"ten?"

J-Hope's eyes widened.

"Oh my God."

Taehyung burst into laughter.

"See? I'm perfectly fine!"

"You just forgot how many drinks you had!"

"That's because numbers are boring."

J-Hope sighed and rubbed his forehead.

This was exactly what he had been worried about.

Everyone knew what happened when Taehyung drank too much.

Normally, Taehyung was calm, confident, playful, and surprisingly responsible.

But alcohol?

Alcohol turned him into an entirely different person.

The last time Taehyung had gotten this drunk, he had apparently challenged his friends to a dance competition, climbed onto a table, tried to sing a love song while completely forgetting the lyrics, and he had dragged jimin for unholy things...and then spent the next morning remembering absolutely none of it.

J-Hope still had videos.

Terrible videos.

Videos that could destroy Taehyung's reputation.

And tonight, Taehyung seemed determined to create an entire sequel.

"Hyung," Taehyung said, putting an arm around J-Hope's shoulders.

"Hmm?"

"I'm getting married."

"I know."

"I'm getting married in two days."
