Alfies POV
I instantly go pale and I let the lady in. We go into the living room and me and Zoe are kicked out so Lola and
the lady can talk. But of course we listen.
Lola's POV
"So Lola, can you tell me as far back as you can remember?"
"I was born in Poland in a poor village. I had a mum and dad and sisters. My sister's moved away and got married and had families. Dad got killed in the war and my mum got ill. Then I had to go to hospital because I have and bad heart. I spent 5 weeks in there and went back home. My house was ruined in the hurricanes and mama disappeared." I then found some boxes to sleep in and I got brought to England." I pause for a breath and realise that she is writing it all down
"And that's when I met Zoe and Alfie and they were my mummy and daddy. I got pizza and a bubble bath and frozen!"
"Ok, Lola have you ever been to school?" She asked.
"NO , but my mum taught me English, French and Spanish." I say
The lady raises her eyebrows impressed.
She took her folder and held my hand and dragged me to the car. I was screaming because I didn't get to say goodbye and then Alfie and Zoe run to the door and shout.
"We want to adopt her." They shout.
