The story happened in 2015 after Team Ender defeated Matalien. The media reported the aftermath.

Female News Reporter #1: Today, America witnessed the birth of its new heroes: Team Ender. Recently, an army of aliens tried to invade our beloved planet. Thankfully, Team Ender saved us.

The screen showed Severino.

Severino: No, we do not want any praises. We were only doing our job, which is to protect the world from threats whether they are earthly or extraterrestrial.

The screen switched to Doctor L.

Interviewer #1: You are not only the cyborg of Team Ender, but you are also the Secretary of Energy, so what is your next plan? How will you balance both roles?

Doctor L: You will see I will manage both roles. As the cyborg of Team Ender, it is a great honour to be a part of this brotherhood. As the Secretary of Energy, I will spread the alien body parts and the alien technologies around the country, so my department will help its respective counterparts of each state to analyze alien stuff.

The screen returned to the female news reporter.

Female News Reporter #1: NASA has announced its new operation.

The screen switched to an astronaut named Randy.

Randy: Since aliens have visited our planet, everybody now knows there are other lives around space, so we, the people of NASA, has initiated an operation to explore space. Hopefully, we will finally discover planets that are inhabited by aliens. They visited us, so why can't we visit them? I am sure not all aliens are invaders. There are good humans, and there are bad humans; likewise, there are good aliens, and there are bad aliens.

Then, the scene pulled the television screen to Van. Next, Van went to his laptop, and he initiated a video call with his friends: Brayden, Nova, Olympia, and Shaun. They were juniors in high school in Sacramento, California.

Van: Has anyone watched the news?

Olympia: Yes, aliens have come to Earth!

Nova: Luckily, Team Ender foiled their invasion plan!

Brayden: Yes, let's be thankful to the Team Ender.

Shaun: Even they do not see us, I want to thank them on this video call.

Van: Let's thank them together! 3-2-1!

All: We thank you, Team Ender!

Olympia: Is anyone ready to go back to school next week?

Nova: I just want to see all of you!

Van: High school is not really a big deal. Sure, it sucks to fail some exams, but will everything matter 'though?

Brayden: Let's be honest: we just do not want to see the other group: those seniors.

Nova: I just cannot stand them!

Shaun: I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

Olympia: We'll just ignore them as much as we can.

Meanwhile, the scene shifted to another call that had Bella, Chid, Gabriel, Lucas, and Maria-the seniors.

Chid: I cannot wait for the Team Ender action figures!

Gabriel: It would be amazing!

Bella: Those action figures would be worth more to wait than school next week.
