"Maybe you should give him a chance. After all, it was a fresh break-up. May post-breakup blues pa siya siguro."

"How long should I wait then?"

"Nobody knows, Cheska. But don't worry I know Rodrick, if he says he want to work it out, mangyayari 'yun."

I pouted. "Sana talaga." Sana ikaw na lang kasi. 

He pinched my cheeks. "Don't worry, I got you." 

The school bell rang. "By the way, I have to go to my next class. Mauna na ako." He reached for his bag. "Also, don't stress yourself out too much, okay?" He patted my head and gave a wink that caused my heart to flutter.

My phone beeped.

Hey

Oh baket?

The faculty will be having intrams

To: Shithead Asshole

Oh tapos?

From: Shithead Asshole

Samahan mo ako later, I will buy shoes for basketball

To: Shithead Asshole

Pass. It's gonna be boring.

Cmon! Mabilis lang.

I was about to type something when he sent a reply again.

From: Shithead Asshole

Basta, I'll wait for you in the parking lot.

To: Shithead Asshole

BUT I HAVENT AGREED TO IT YET JEEEERK!!!

No buts gtg i have class. See u after your last class.

This guy is so impossible!

"Happy?" inirapan ko ng mata si RR pagkaupo ko sa front seat. Nakapikit ang mga mata niya at bahagyang tumatango ang ulo niyo base sa pinapatugtog niya sa sasakyan. I think it's the OST from the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse. Sunflower by Post Malone and Swae Lee.

I raised my eyebrow. So he listens to this kind of music pala, huh?

"Kanina pa ako naghihintay," binuksan na niya ang mga mata niya. "By the way, seat belt."

He leaned towards me to pull the strap. He suddenly paused and whispered something to my ear. "I missed you."

Napalunok ako sa binulong niya. Miss daw? "Sorry I did not miss you." I sneered.

"How about this?" He gave a light peck on my neck. I immediately felt goosebumps. 

"Hoy! B-bakit ka ganyan?!" nauutal kong protesta sa kanya.

Umupo na ulit siya nang maayos sa pwesto niya habang nakangisi. "I think it will take you a long time before you get used to things like these."

Aba. "'Wag mo 'kong sinusubukan." I crossed my arms and glared at him.

"Surprise me, then." Inilapit niya ang mukha niya sa akin. This time I did not avoid his eyes. 

I pushed him back. I saw in his eyes the confusion. I sneered. What I'll do next would really surprise the hell out of him.

"Cheska-" he muttered but I didn't let him finish what he was about to say because I moved away from my seat and sat on his lap facing him.

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya sa ginawa ko. "Surprised, huh?" I told him naughtily.

"Baka may makakita-" sabi niya habang sumusulyap sa labas ng kotse.

"It's getting dark outside though." I pressed myself harder against his body. I placed my palms on top of his chest. I swear I could feel his heart pounding so fast. 

"What now, RR? Anong gusto mong mangyari?" sabi ko sa kanya habang magkatitigan kami. 

Not once in my life did I think I could be this daring.

Pansin ko ang pag-igting ng panga niya. Hindi ko inasahan ang sagot niya sa akin. 

"Ang dami kong gustong gawin sa'yo. But first I have to win your heart completely."

By saying that, I guess he already advanced steps towards my heart.
