*This story starts from Blaze's point of view*
Blaze's POV:
Hi.
My name is Blaze.
Blaze Manoukian.
I'm a rancher...
Actually, I live on a ranch with my parents.
I have a horse named Daffodil and a pig named Jimmy Dean.
Like the sausage name, I know...
Anyways...
I made a new friend.
Her name is Bonnie.
Even though she's younger than me, I don't mind being her friend.
Especially since her and I share the same interests, such as animals and playing.
During our recent play date, something amazing happened...
You guessed it...
Buzz and Jessie got married!!!
It was a very happy wedding...
Especially for us, since that moment was when we became best friends and now, I want to do something special for Bonnie, Buzz and Jessie...
On the drive down to Goodwill, I looked at the ten dollar bill that I had in my hands from getting paid for doing chores.
Ten dollars...What can I get my best friend for ten dollars...? I said to myself as we were beginning to pull into the thrift store parking lot.
When we pulled into a parking spot, my mom looked at me.
"Excited to pick something out for your best friend for when we go and see her today?" She asked, excitement in her voice.
I could tell that she was just as excited as I was.
Except that she wasn't the one who was picking out the gift.
You see, a girl like me who's a bit older than the girl who I'm friends with doesn't know what she'll like but, I'm going to try and find something that she doesn't have but, will need...
Especially for my bright idea that I have for me and Bonnie's play date today...
You see...
Ever since Buzz and Jessie got married, I've been thinking about their next chapter...
Parenthood...
That's why me and my mom came down here to Goodwill...
I'm going to surprise Bonnie with a small baby doll that would be just right for Buzz and Jessie...
"Blaze Manoukian, are you listening to me?" My mom said, while my attention was focused on the ten dollar bill that was in my hand, which was about to go into my right blue jean pocket.
I then placed the ten dollar bill in my right blue jean pocket, making sure that it was safe and secure.
"Yes, mom. I'm really excited!" I said, really excited as we got out of the truck and started walking towards the entrance of Goodwill.
