Liar

You liar, you cheat,

you unfaithful mosquito

that flies around

pricking unknown victims

sucking them dry;

gorging yourself until

you can swallow no more,

mischievous fiend;

an Incubus posing as a steed

in unwanted dreams;

a misconception begotten by

regrettable malcontent,

a fallible trust.

Do not take me away,

you liar, you cheat,

you unfaithful supposed steed.
