She opened her eyes under the water, the chlorine stinging her eyes for a split second before they adjusted and she could make out the blurry figures in the water; she smiled, she had always loved the way the light looked like thousand multicolored diamonds under the water. She kicked her legs and propelled herself towards the green color blur, her lungs starting to ache and beg for air.

Bea placed her hands over Zach's hips, just above his green swimming trunks and pushed herself out of the water, closing her eyes as she broke the surface of the water and her chest filled with air.

"Hey there mermaid" laughed Zach, he looked down at Bea, she wiped the extra water from her eyes before she opened them and smiled at Zach.

"Hey" she answered back, she looked up at the sky, the warm sun was starting to disappear behind thick grey clouds and Bea couldn't help but pout, she loved being in the pool.

Zach planted a gentle peck over Bea's pouted lips before she turned to look at him and let go of his hips; the young man wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him, she looked at him and smirked.

"What?" she whispered, her eyes locked over his.

Zach didn't answer, he leaned forward and his wet lips met Bea's, the young woman closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her, she felt as one of Zach's hands slid up her back and found a place between her shoulder blades and pulled her closer.

Bea smiled under their kiss and Zach couldn't help but think that there was no better feeling than the one of feeling the girl you loved smiling under your kiss; Bea's grip around his neck tightened but she pushed away from Zach as a thunder echoed and the sky broke sending thousands of water drops down over the kissing pair.

Bea laughed loudly as the water engulfed them and the once sunny day turned into a grey afternoon.

"Let's get out of here" said Zach, he pushed his hair away from his face and swam rapidly towards the edge of the pool, he pushed himself up and out as Bea swam towards the stairs and trotted out of the pool rapidly.

Zach fetched the now soaking wet towels and turned to look at Bea, the young girl rushed past him and towards the glass door that lead to the kitchen.

"HURRY!" laughed Bea, she pushed the door open and stepped inside, Zach following her and closing the door behind himself.

Zach dropped the wet towels inside the sink, once he had showered and changed into dry clothes he would hang them; outside a storm had started, turning the day dark and cold.

"What time is your brother getting here?" asked Zach, Bea turned to look at him, she smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his own around her waist.

"At five" she answered, her lips close to his; Zach smiled and started to walk out of the kitchen and towards the living room slowly as he held Bea and she held him, she walked slowly to avoid slipping and falling butt first to the floor. "Why?" she whispered to Zach, he gave her a small kiss "What do you have in mind?"

"Well, maybe we could go shower, watch a movie get ice cream, before he gets here"

"You are not showering with my sister in this house" the voice boomed over the thunder, echoing through the house; Bea pushed herself away from Zach and the young man slipped over his wet feet but crashed, back first, against the wall as they turned to find Owen sitting in the living room.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" gasped Bea, her right hand over her chest and a frown starting to form over her face.

"I told you I was coming over for dinner with Claire" answered Owen, he glanced at Zach and then turned to his sister.

"At five!" barked Bea, "Its three!"

"This is my house too, you know that right?" said Owen, he stood up from his seat on the beige sofa, he turned to Zach "You can go shower now Romeo"

Zach opened his mouth to say something but decided against it and rapidly made his way between the Grady brothers and headed to the stairs to get to Bea's room.

"How long has he been here?" asked Owen as he watched Zach rush up the stairs.

"He got here this morning" barked Bea.

"Don't lie to me" said Owen as he turned to his sister.

"I am not lying" she hissed at her older brother.

She was.

"I don't think boys should come over when I am not here"

"You don't live here!" barked Bea, she stomped furiously as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Exactly my point"

"UGH!" barked Bea, she turned around and headed back to the kitchen, Owen following with a smile over his face. "Why are you here early? And where is Claire?"

"She had a reunion or something like that at InGen" explained Owen "Barry is also coming by the way"

"Yeah, I know" answered Bea, she sat down at the kitchen island "I talked to him this morning"

Owen sat across his sister and leaned over the kitchen island, he looked down at his hands and Bea frowned, she could see something was bothering him; something other than the fact that Zach had proposed they shower together.

"Owen, what's wrong?" she asked, she reached across the table and took his big hand in her small one. "What's up?"

"Bea Bird" whispered Owen, he slowly looked up at her "InGen contacted me"

"Ok" whispered Bea, she frowned slightly but said nothing else as she waited for her brother to continue.

"They are going to try to talk to you too" he sighed, his eyes suddenly serious and stern and that made Bea nervous "You have to promise me you will say no, ok? You have to promise me, Bea"

"Say no to what?" asked Bea, she slowly pulled her hand away from her brother's hand.

"Promise me" he said, his voice harsh.

"I can't promise that until I know what they want!" said Bea, "What did they talk about with you?"

"They want us to go back to Isla Nublar" said Owen.

Bea looked at her brother as she felt her heart shrink and her stomach turn, she tensed her hands as her chest started to rise and fall as shock took over her body; just like when Leo had punched her in the face.

She felt the fear spread through her veins; mortal fear.
