(*Chloe's P.O.V*)

"Chloe, are you sure about this?"

"Aubrey, I know what I'm doing." Today was the day. My big day.

"You realise it will hurt? Like, a lot?"

"Aubrey! I am going through with this! You are not my mother."

We walked into the tattoo shop, there were drawings all over the wall and the faint sound of someone singing.

We ventured further in until we reached the front desk. A tall, blond guy was on the phone, pacing around behind the counter.

"He's hot," Aubrey whispered in my ear, causing me to giggle. The blond man turned around and saw us.

"You want a tattoo?" He asked, I nodded eagerly in response.

"Okay. Sit over there and I'll have Beca over to you in a sec." He motioned his head toward a row of seats, then turning around and yelling, "Beca! Customers!"

What seemed like seconds later, a woman came walking towards Aubrey and I. She was very short, and had spikes coming out her ears.

"She seems very alternative..." Once again, Aubrey whispered in my ear, although this time sounding very displeased.

"What did you expect?" I snapped back.

"Hey, I'm Beca. I'll be doing your tattoo, what were you thinking?" She asked, sitting down next to me.

"Uh, well, I was thinking the letter 'B', like this," I pulled out my phone, and showed her the picture of the letter B on the front of our Barden Bellas sorority house.

"Yeah, I can do that." She smiled at me, and I could tell it was a genuine smile. My stomach fluttered, as if a thousand butterflies had started flying around inside me. Her smile just did that to me.

She stood up and we followed her to where the tattoo was going to be done.

"Just lay down here." I did as I was told, laying down on the chair. It was almost like a dentist chair, and she was the pretty dentist about to work on me. Wait, what was I thinking?

"Where do you want it?" I heard, but was lost in thought about Beca's smile.

I was brought back to reality by Aubrey elbowing me and giving me a glare that suggested, 'Pay attention!'. I looked back toward Beca, to see her smirking down at me.

"Right h-here. On m-my wrist." I stuttered, staring into Beca's eyes. I had to pinch my hand to look away, which luckily she didn't notice, but Aubrey did and elbowed me again.

"All right. Let's get started then, shall we?" She leaned towards her laptop, and started playing some music. Titanium, by David Guetta, but it wasn't a voice I recognised. And that song was my jam. My lady jam.

"Is this you singing?" I asked, purely out of curiosity at how such a small person can have such a big and beautiful voice.

"Yeah," Beca replied, chuckling.

"Wow."

"A good wow, I hope?"

I giggled, and replied, "Duh! This is amazing!"

Beca's face was plastered with the biggest grin I ever saw.

She started to prepare the machinery, and was about to start, when Aubrey burst out, "Aren't you gonna prepare a stencil?"

Beca was about to reply, when the tall blond guy walked round and said, "Beca does them freehand, she's a natural." He winked at Beca, not a flirtatious wink, more of an encouraging and friendly one.

"Yeah this totally isn't my first one," Beca said sarcastically, causing a grin from blondie.

"Good luck!" He yelled, walking away.

"Wait, you're an amateur? No, Chloe you should have this done by a professional, it's your first tattoo!" She blurted, sounding rude, but Beca just smirked.

"Would you rather me stencil it?" She asked, sounding as if she didn't really care whether it was or not.

"Yes!" Aubrey shrieked. I rolled my eyes.

"I was asking Chloe here. Not you. It's not your tattoo. It's hers." I snickered at her response to Aubrey, and she grinned down at me.

"Well, at least that shut her up. Don't stencil it, I'm sure it'll be aca-awesome."

"Ah so you're one of those a capella girls?" Beca asked, seeming genuinely interested.

"Yeah we are. Can you just start the tattoo?" Of course Aubrey couldn't lay off her.

"Sure, blondie." So she did, and I winced at the touch of the cold needle poking into my skin. Beca started singing along to Titanium, and she sounded even better in real life than from a laptop.

I sang along with her, keeping with the tone of her version of the song, and she grinned once again. I figured, may as well take my mind off the pain.

We ended up singing together for as long as the tattoo took, and when it was done, I was disappointed. Not because of the tattoo, because I was really enjoying singing with Beca.

When I looked over at the tattoo, I was surprised at how amazing it looked. The colour stood out, and the black outline was done perfectly.

"Just chill here for a minute while I go get everything you need to take care of that, so it heals." And with that, Beca took off toward another door, leaving a chance for me and Aubrey to chat.

"So? What do you think?" I asked her.

"Wow. It's pretty good."

"Pretty good? It's amazing!" I told her, not hearing the footsteps behind me.

"Thanks." Beca chuckled.

"So how much do I owe you?" I asked, hoping it wouldn't be too much.

"This one's on the house, for your appreciation for my music." She smiled at me, and went into a detailed explanation of how to keep my tattoo from getting infected.

I couldn't help it, I didn't hear anything of what she said because I was too busy just looking into her eyes. Her dark blue eyes captivated me in a surreal fantasy.
But, what was I thinking? She probably wasn't into girls.

"Are you gay?" I blurted out earning a threatening glare from Aubrey, and a smirk from Beca.

"What?" She asked, obviously knowing what I said, just asking why.

"I-I didn't mean to, just, you know, blurt it out. Sorry- I- I'm sorry." I blurted, once again. Me and my stupid mouth. I really want to just crawl under a rock and die right now.

"It's cool. I am. You know, gay. Don't worry about it." She smiled at me, and I swear I thought I saw a hint of admiration in her eyes.

"So, here is my, um, my card- in case you need to call for another tattoo, or anything like that.." Beca seemed very nervous as she slipped a piece of paper in my hand, which had her number on.

I looked back at her, and she winked a flirtatious wink towards me. I felt my face going bright red, as I blushed.

"Well, we'd better get going. Bye. Chloe! Chloe! Let's go!" I hadn't realised Aubrey was almost yelling at me, Beca was smirking at me as I was gazing at her longingly.

"Oh. Yeah. Sure. Uh, bye Beca!" I smiled at her laughing state and watched as she stopped laughing and smiled back.

"Bye! I hope to see you soon, Chloe." She smirked and winked at me, and I could feel myself going bright red.

"You totally have a toner for her, Chlo."
