Chapter One: What Up

My name is Shane D. Atami, my real name is Gol D. Atami but I don't want anyone to know. All I know is that my mother Portgas D. Rouge died giving birth to my little brother, I have her freckles because I know that Roger doesn't have freckles. I hope I get to see him or something, I guess that might take a while.

Right now some old man named Garp, a Vice Admiral is taking me to Dawn Island where is Grandson's were. I wonder who they are? I thought to myself. Once we docked on the Island Garp carried me but I sat on his shoulder, everyone on the greeted him while he walked pass. We walked into the forest and I couldn't resist to ask him where we were actually going

"Um Garp-san, where am I going?" I asked politely

"Your going to live with mountain bandits." he replied

"Wait what, mountain bandits?" I said

"Yep, since I can't look after you these guys are." he said

"Are you serious?"

"Indeed I am." he answered

"Okay." I said and hopped off his shoulder and walked there with Garp

Later

After walking in the forest I saw a little house, we walked up to the house and Garp-san knocked on the door. A fat old lady opened the door, she had curly orange hair and she was also smoking.

"Who is it..... oh it's you Garp-san." she said

"Atami, this is Curly Dadan." he said

"What up." I said

"Who is she?" Dadan asked

"Her name is Shane D. Atami. I need you to look after her." Garp-san said

"What?!? I'm already looking after your three grandson's." she explained

"It's either that or you live behind bars." he said

"Okay we'll look after her." she said with a fake smile

"Good, anyway where are those trouble-some boys?" Garp-san asked

"There out catching food." she explained

"Well when they get I'll give them my Fist Of Love." he said and I sweat dropped

"Magra take her inside." she said

"Okay Dadan, follow me please." he asked politely

"Okay Magra." I replied and followed him inside

"You seem nice Atami." he said

"You do too." I replied and he gave me a smile. I got bored after a while so I left the house to explore the forest. When I left the house I ran into the forest and climbed a tree, I jumped branch to branch until one of them broke and I fell into a bush. Once I looked up I saw a giant tiger, like really really huge kind of tiger. I wasn't in the mood for fighting but it was, it was ready to ponce until I gave a cold glare. Before I knew it, it sat down and started to purr on me

"I guess you wanna be my friend." I asked

"Okay I'll call you, Opal." I said and it wrapped it's tail around me and place me on her back. I'm guessing it's a girl. Opal walked around the forest and it looked like she was taking me to a river or something.

"Are you thirsty Opal?" I asked and I think she nodded. I hopped off her and she started drinking some of the water. I got hungry a bit so I decided to get some food, I still had my dagger strapped around my leg in a little bag. (A/N: like the one Ace has.) I take it out and hop into the water, lucky for me I saw a crocodile. It swam to me and when it was close enough to me I killed it. I dragged it outta the water and started a fire

"Ya hungry Opal?" I asked and she nodded. I started cooking it till it was done, when it was done I cut it in half and gave Opal her share and I had mine. When I was done eating it started to get dark so I decided to go back to the house, I wonder if I get to see the other boys. I hopped onto Opal and she started walking back to the house.

From afar I could her yelling or shall I say screaming

"GET BACK HERE!!" I think that was Garp-san

"NEVER!" someone yelled back

"I'm back." I said sitting on Opal. They all stare at me sitting on the big tiger

"Oh your back Atami." Garp-san said

"What Up." I said and hopped off Opal

"Who's she?" a boy with freckles asked

"My name is Shane D. Atami Freckles." I said

"Don't call me Freckles!" he yelled

"Whatcha gonna do about it Freckles?" I asked with a funny voice

"My name is Portgas D. Ace Freckles." he yelled back. I was shocked to hear him say Portgas, if he my little brother? I thought to myself

"Are you alright?" a boy with a straw hat asked

"Yeah it's just, my mothers name was Portgas D. Rouge." I replied
