The sound of skateboard pegs rang in my ears. It wasn't a bad sound, but not the most pleasant either. I leaned my back against the concrete wall covered in graffiti, looked at the skaters in front of me, then at my sketchbook and back at the people. It kinda looked cool, but something still was off. My shoe tapped against the concrete in unison, as if trying to dig a hole there. I sighed and looked at the screen of my phone, my eyes almost popped out of my head as the saliva got stuck somewhere in my throat, causing me to cough slightly.
It was half past eight.
I grabbed my stuff and quickly went towards the bus stop, leaving the skatepark behind. Luckily, my bus arrived quickly so I didn't have to waste precious minutes waiting for it. From the more bad stuff they increased ticket prices.

The bright red neon sign stared at me like an oath I never wanted to make. Well, sometimes you have to do things you don't want to so others won't suffer.
As soon as I stepped through the door, the unbearable haze of alcohol and cigarettes hitted me. I quickly made my way to the back of the club, to the changing room. Placed my bag on one of the gray benches and looked into the nearest mirror. The room was small and minimalist, grey walls, lockers and three small benches. I fixed my mascara and quickly changed into my work outfit which was made of a black tube top that showed a bit of my stomach, a black short skirt and a pair of black heels. When I was leaving the room I saw my supervisor. He seemed a bit upset.
"You're late." His voice was like a painfull scratch to my ears, like everything in this club excpet the music. The music was fine.
"I know, I'm sorry it won't happend again"
"I hope so, I don't want to fire you yet." I tried not to roll my eyes as he looked at my legs and then left the room. Who the fuck hire such a pervert?
I met my colleague from work at the bar section. He was purring some luqid to the glass for an older man.
"Hi, gorgeous"
"Well, hello Nicholas" He looked at his watch on his wrist after giving the man his drink.
"You're a bit late."
"Yea, I know. But it's just ten past nine and there is not much of people."
"Not yet, it's Saturday there will be more."
"Maybe, but later."
I went deeper into the club. It was a bit more than medium size club. The main colors were black, red amd blue and there was a second floor for more rich people. In the middle there were pipes for the dancers.
My job here was to give people their drinks, talk to them, laugh at their stupid jokes, smile as cute as I could and seduce everyone. Easy money right?
A men in his 40s was looking at me like I was some kind of a gods gift, I made my way to him. He looked like a total pervent
"You're absolutly stunning, baby." Please no nicknames from that filthy mouth of yours.
"Thank you, you're very handsome too." He laughed and I smiled brightly.
"Come on sit here. My name is Marcus and yours?"
And that's how the next 3 hours were spent. Talking, laughing, smiling and moving through sweaty bodies.
_____
"Tired?"
"Definietly."
I just fixed my mascara and felt like I'm going to fall asleep right now on this courtnetrop. It was a bit after midnight and the party was going on its finest. Unfortunetly I had to left my friend and go back to my job.
