Dakota watched at Brian picked up their five year old son, Matt. She smiled softly.
"Momma?" Katie asked, bouncing from heel to heel.
Dakota turned, looking at her now sixteen year old daughter.
"Can I go race with Uncle Dom?"
Dakota looked at Brian, who had put Matt down and froze, fear clear in his eyes.
"Just because she's 16 and has her license, doesn't mean she's going to race!" Dakota said.
Brian rubbed the back of his neck. "Well..."
"But I want to."
Dakota looked at Katie. "And your father had nothing to do with this, Katherine?"
Katie gulped. "Um..."
"Brian O'Conner! I'm going to beat your ass!"
