Your POV:

Today was the day. I was gonna tell Hope how I really feel about soccer.

"Hope?" I said.

"Yeah."

"Can I talk to you?"

"Of course you can."

"Please don't be disappointed in me." I said to her.

"Why would I be disappointed?" She said.

"I love soccer." I started. "I love it and have a lot of respect for the game."

"But?"

"But it's not what I want to do." I said. "I take to all the schools that are interested in me and asked them if I can still go even if I don't play soccer. I want to do music." I said. "That's my passion."

Hope nodded. "That's it?"

"Yeah." I said. "I wanted to tell you but I didn't know how. I didn't want you to be disappointed."

"I'm not disappointed. I could never be disappointed in you." She smiled. "I'm happy you told me and I'm gonna support you no matter what you want to do." I smiled. "Come here." She said opening her arms.

I walked to her and hugged her.

"You know I love you." She laughed.

"Yes I know." I answered.

There was a knock on the door. "Hope? It's Kelley I need to talk to you." I smirked.

"I'll leave you too alone." I said grabbing my phone and walking to the door. I opened it. "Go on in Kel." I patted her back. I left the room laughing at Kelley who was very confused.

"What are you on?" Morgan asked me as I got to her and Kling's room.

"Nothing." I shook my head. "I just told Hope though."

"Told her what?" Kling said.

"About how I wanna focus more on music. I love soccer but its not want I want do."

"How did she take it?" Morgan asked.

"She's cool with it." I said. "She'll support me no matter what." I smiled.

Kling hugged me. "Well looks like we gotta a musical child. Remember me when you win Grammys."

We laughed at her.

Hope's POV:

"Music?" Kelley said. "Good for her."

"You knew didn't you?"

"Yes I did." She looked down. "She asked me and Julie to help her. She wanted to tell you but didn't know how cause she thought you'd be"

"Disappointed." I finished for her.

"Exactly."

"Why does she think I'm gonna be so hard on her?"

"Cause you're Hope Solo. You saw how they treated her during the U-20 World Cup. She wasn't Y/N L/N. She was "Hope Solo's daughter" do you know what that does to a kid? She wants to live up to the name."

I looked down.

"When people find out that you're her parent, they're automatically gonna be tough on her."

"What do I do?"

"Change her last name to O'Hara." Kelley winked. "We can change yours too."

I laughed. "Smooth."

"Go out with me tonight." She said.

I looked at her. "Okay." She smiled.

"Really? That was super easy. I thought you'd say no." She laughed.

"Why doesn't everyone think of me as such a negative person!"

"Cause you are Hope Solo! Greatest goal keeper in the world!" She ran out of the room.

O'SOLO!!!!! Also how about that Sky Blue vs Seattle match tonight? Talk about intense! KO went 1v1 with Hope! She nutmegged Fishlock who ended up scoring. Sorry this wasn't up sooner I've been all over the place. I went to the 5 Seconds of Sumer concert last night and didn't get home till 12:30 and I felt bad all day (headache and everything) and I probably won't update tomorrow either and if I do it might be late. Sorry guys but it will all be worth it in the end.
