Chapter 26 - What a Shame

"What? Huh?" JongDae confuses

"She is your sister?" BaekHyun asks to assure his understanding.

"Huh? What?" JongDae says, understand nothing he shakes his head, "BaekHyun,I never told you JiEun and I have a blood relationship?" He asks. BaekHyun looks at MiYoung.

The girl with a funny angry face glazes at him,

"Seriously, I never told you JiEun is my sister?" JongDae reassures pointing at his sister

"I'm afraid you forgot that little detail. If you did someone wouldn't be mad at me like that." MiYoung says eyeing on the boyfriend with challenge eyes.

"No," BaekHyun shakes his head, "I remember you two are born in the same year and month." He says

The brother smiles and grabs his hand around MiYoung's shoulder, "You have to say we were born on the same day too. It is a long story, but let's me summarise it." He says walking over BaekHyun's direction, "I got out five minutes earlier, so I'm her oppa. However, she is luckier. She is the only girl in the family, and she gets my father's genes. She has his face, his talent, and his kindness. When she was 18, she left the house and started her journey. She got her degrees without family support. She got back here without telling anyone. If I didn't catch her outside on the street, I think she still hiding. She heard about our project and suggested to help. She said she volunteered to help not because of me. Do you know how much that hurts my feeling?"

BaekHyun looks at her, and her sentence brought his attention

'If I told you, one of the main reasons for me to work here is you. Do you believe me?'

"Now..." JongDae's voice pulls him back to reality, "Tell me, what the problem is between you two?"

BaekHyun feels ashame to tell his friend about the issue. MiYoung folds her hand in front of her chest,

"His MinAh left the office with a big box on her hand, so Mr. Byun comes to judge me." She answers

"You didn't tell him the story yet?" JongDae asks and turns back looking at BaekHyun.

MiYoung interrupts his sentence, "oppa. you told me earlier that you are waiting for an importance document to come through the fax machine. Why don't you take care of it first?" Said MinSeok

"What's about?" JongDae concerns pointing at BaekHyun

"I can handle it," MiYoung says

"You sure?" Asked JongDae

"Yeah," replied MiYoung.

"Ok," JongDae nods, "if you can keep him, opla will do anything for you. It doesn't matter what."

"You will be regretting it when you say this sentence to me." Said MiYoung.

"No I won't," JongDae said while looking at the watch and quickly runs out.

MiYoung stands still not looking at him. BaekHyun puts the box on his hand down. He walks closer,

"You two don't look alike a lot." He comments

"We are from the same father, but not mother," She replies

"You never told me JongDae is your brother." Said BaekHyun.

"And, I didn't say you are my boyfriend either. Also, you never ask. If you ask, I'm sure I'll tell you." Said MiYoung

"You know I have mistaken the relationship between you two, but you don't want to explain." He speaks

"Before you left for Shanghai, I did say when you come back I have one important thing to tell you. However, after you came back, you don't even give me a chance to seriously talked to you." She says, "Your time is not for me, your time is saving for MinAh, Sunny, Angie, and..., a lot, I can't remember all."
