Chapter 22 - Not the First Time

MinSeok shakes his head, "I can't; I'm really busy you should know. I don't have time to miss you." He jokes

"Last time you said JiEun is coming back. How did it turns out?" She asks

MinSeok begins to tell the story, "Either tomorrow or next week, I'll call her out so you guys can meet. I'm sure you will like her."

JunHyun touches her boyfriend's face, "I heard SeoHyun said JongDae keeps mentioning about JiEun, and now it is your turn. I'm sure JiEun is a lovely girl." She says and pokes his nose, "Are you going to stay for lunch?"

"I can't, urgent meeting I have to get back." Said MinSeok

JunHyun turns over, "If it is urgent, you should go and prepare for it. I understand. you don't have to come here to pick me." She says

MinSeok kisses her cheek, "I miss you," he honestly says

"I can get the cab home. You get back to work. Call me when you are done." Said MinSeok.

"I'm not that heartless to leave you here. I can take you home, but I just can't come up to say hi to your parent." He says, "So, how is the trip, how is your studies? And, you probably attracted a lot of Japanese men didn't you?" MinSeok asks loading the case as he gets into his car.

"That's obvious. no doubt with the statement." The girlfriend says with a beautiful smile on her face.

The man shakes his head, "Tomorrow, I will check your phone. If I see any strange number, I'll delete it all." He speaks. JunHyun smiles, she walks inside the car and takes out the small present in her bag. She hides it inside of her jacket. Her boyfriend keeps talking about his sister. The trip is long, but with his excitement, she sees him parks his car down in front of the building soon. MinSeok quickly runs out to get her stuffs for her. JunHyun places the present on the chair and steps down

"Take a rest; I'll spend a whole day with you tomorrow." MinSeok says

"Call me when you are free tonight." She insists

"Sure," He nods and kisses her cheek, "Love you," He whispers.

JunHyun pulls the case and walks inside. MinSeok glances at the watch and runs back. However, he finds a small cute present on the seat. He unwraps the present. A beautiful watch is inside the fancy box. MinSeok shakes his head. He pulls his cell out and presses non-stop on the phone. Before stepping out of the elevator, her cell is beeping. There is one message in the mail box. "I love you," three words are in the text, from her boyfriend sends to her. JunHyun smiles, she pulls the case out of the elevator and walks inside the house.

JongDae opens the car door for his sister. She sits at the back with MinAh while BaekHyun shares the half front with him. They have a problem to discuss with each other. However, none of BaekHyun's word could get his attention. For the whole trip, he keeps looking at the rear mirror watching his sister. MiYoung concentrates on the report on her hand. She is nervous and tired for not sleeping for a whole night to prepare for the meeting in the morning. She doesn't want to fail her brothers and her father. In addition, she wants to prove her ability to her employees. Every time JongDae looks up, he gives out a smile and shakes his head. He knows for sure, it doesn't matter what happens; his brother and his father are always by her side. BaekHyun and MinAh looks out the window to ignore the flirting. They walk down the alley with their employees. JongDae grabs his hand around his sister, "I have a chocolate inside of my pocket. If you want one to calm your nerves, I can give you one." He jokes

MiYoung plunges his chest, "I have to eat abalone for lunch." She speaks

"Let's see your performance first." JongDae says; he opens the door and walks in. MinSeok and Mr. Kim are surprising staring at the girl. MiYoung calmly pulls the chair and sits down next to JongDae. Through the look on her father's face, MiYoung knows her father doesn't know that she is working on JongDae's site. It gives her a clue that there is always one person right next to her watching her move and informs the news to her mother. One hour meeting isn't long, but Mr. Kim can't concentrate. He attention is only on his daughter's presentation. MinSeok raises his thumb up to support her. To everyone, nothing is special. However, it is surprising MinAh. The project she was working on yesterday was totally different to the presentation her manager is presenting.
