Atlas POV

Hanggang ngayon siya padin ang laman ng isip ko.Kahit ano pa ang gawin kong pagkumbinsi sa utak ko ay di ko talaga magawang burahin siya.Mananatili na talaga ang aalala ko sakanya.Mahal ko talaga kasi si Ao.Siya lang ang babaeng natatangi sa paningin ko,maliban kay Ace.Hanga din naman ako sa kanya.

Alas diyes na ng umaga ng magising ako.Ang tangi kong naaalala ay napalakas ang inom ko nitong mga nakaraang araw.

To think about it,I feel hopeless.And one step to take is to divert my attention on other things.Mas mabuti nadin siguro kung business nalang ang pagtutunan ko ng pansin.

It would be a lot easy if Ill just try to forget Ao.She holds a special place in my heart but I have to move on at ngayon ko napagdesisyunang magsimula.

Agad na kong naligo at nagbihis.Kailangan ko pang puntahan ang meeting ko ngayong hapon.Importante kasi ito,at yung tumawag kanina ang kameeting ko. Mas mapapadali na siguro ang transaction ng business namin.

Palabas na ko ng kwarto at bumungad sakin ang nakasandal na si Ace sa tapat ng pintuan ko.Nakayuko sya pero agad ding nag angat ng tingin.

"So,where are we going?" agad na tanong nya.Ofcourse kasama dapat siya.

"May imemeet ako,at magkakaroon ng meeting ngayong araw." sabi ko sakanya.Agad na kong nagsimulang maglakad pababa ng hagdan.Nakasunod lamang si Ace.At di na ko nag abalang tumingin o lumingon sa kanya.Diretso na kami palabas ng garahe.Sumakay na ako sa sasakyan ko at kita ko namang umangkas na si Ace sa motorbike niya.

Why is she hot riding that bike?

What the... I should stop thinking those things.

Agad ko ng ipinaharurot ang sasakyan at si Ace ay nakasunod sa likod.

Nakarating kami sa building at nagdesisyon akong pumunta sa opisina at sunod lang si Ace sa likuran ko hanggang sa makapasok na ko sa opisina at agad namang umupo si Ace sa sofa.

Kinuha ko na ang mga papeles na kinakailangang pirmahan.Umupo muna ako.Mukhang nakakapagod din pala yung ganito.

Habang iniiscan yung papeles at pinipirmahan ang dapat pirmahan ay di ko maiwasang silipin si Ace doon na nakaupo sa sofa.May hawak syang baril at tinitignan ito ng mataman.

I am not into guns.Kaya di ko alam kung ano ang tawag sa baril na hawak nya ngayon.

Tumingin din sya sakin na ikinagulat ko kaya agad kong iniiwas ang tingin ko sakanya.At kita kong nagkibit balikat lamang sya.Medyo awkward ang sitwasyong ngayon.

Uhm.

"Uh... Ace." sambit ko sa pangalan nya.Napaangat naman agad sya ng tingin sakin.

"Yeah?" tanong nya.

Lumunok ako ng ilang beses bago nagpatuloy sa kahibangan ko.

"Have you ever been inlove?" tanong ko.Kinakabahan ako,kasi its out of the ordinary.Like,wth im not suppose to ask her about these things.But im dead curious about it.I think I just need some advice.

Nakita ko namang napakunot ang noo nya.Sino ba naman ang hindi? My question is out in her world.

Ugh,I can say that i really am hopeless.

Ilang sigundo ang nakalipas wala akong narinig na sagot.Maybe I should not ask her again about those stuffs.

I heaved a sigh.Darn stupid,Atlas.

"Actually,I havent." mahina pero nakapang abot iyon sa pandinig ko kung kayat tumingin ako sa kanya.

What? She havent fallen inlove?

"Ha? Bakit? I mean,you sure? Or theres just someone special to you?"

She looked at me with void expressions.Bumuntong hininga siya atsaka tumingin sakin.

"You know what,sir. I didnt expect you to ask me these questions out of the blue.But I was more shock when I answered it." sabi niya.

"So? " still waiting for her answers.

"Theres someone special to me though.And I am doing my very best to protect him in any way that I can." sagot niya.

Lumunok ulit ako.Sino kaya tong tinutukoy ni Ace? Am I just assuming that its me or what? I never meddle with her life though and theres no reason for it to do so.

Ace POV

I dont know actually kung bakit ko yun sinabi kay Atlas.It just came up with my mind that I should sare some infos with him regarding of what hes asking.

And malapit ng matapos ang kontrata ko sa ama nya but his dad is asking for renewal of the contract.

"Miss Spade its been six months since I hired you.I think you should come by at my office for the renewal of your contract." saad ni Mr. Gi Amanti.The big boss,Atlas dad.

Bumuntong hininga ako.

Ive decided.

"Ill be there sir."

Ngayong hapon ay aalis din ako at didiretso sa office ni Mr. Gi Amanti pagkatapos ng meeting ni Atlas.

Agad kong tinignan si Atlas ng magsalita sya.

"Uh,can you bring foods from the restau? Uhuh. Yes. 2 orders of meal.Have it delivered before eleven thirty." salita nya sa intercom.

Whats he up to this time?

"You know what Ace,I kinda like you.And I hope youll stay by my side.As my bodyguard and ofcourse as my friend.What do you think?" he said out of the blue and made me uneasy.

I just look at him while his seating there and also looking at me intently.

Im sorry,Atlas.

I cant stay by your side.I have things to do and things to settle.And if I dont get away from you as soon as possible,Id be digging my own grave.

Your special to me.But I need to find my long lost memories first.I need to reclaim those memories and only my lost and found family can help me with that.

Its so good to know that you considered to have me around to be your friend,Atlas.But I think just as of now,I am building feelings that I shouldnt have.I am damn scared if this would continue to build up.And im scared what would be your reaction if youll know that I am Aozuniyan and worst I never revealed to you that I am a Spade.

I think I like you,Atlas.

But this is goodbye.

I smiled bitterly and nodded to his question.And the meal arrived.

I think I will be no longer The Heirs Bodyguard.

I got under a pressure guys.But still Im not giving up.Ive been into anime lately that I even forgot my promise to myself that ill be updating chaps for sembreak.But sad to say ,I got occupied with some school stuffs and my new addiction SNN. And im also happy that I got a grade of 94 for my OTS drawing.Yehey! Cheer for me guys!

Im back to school,but I got sick so Ive made up my mind to make this chap for my compensation for breaking my promise.And this what it turns out.Please bear with me.
