Hello there and thank you for taking a chance on this book!

If you don't know who I am yet, I'll give you a short introduction. My name is Keri and I'm a 20-something author from South Africa. I've been writing since I was 16, but I've only been on Wattpad since I was 19. I'm a primary school teacher by day who loves teaching young children the joy of reading and the thrill behind creating your own stories. When I'm not doing that, I'm pouring myself into my own stories.

For those who have been with this book from the very beginning you would know that it's undergone many rewrites and changes. It's all needed to create the most polished, enjoyable version of the story I can make for all of you. This story was originally titled The Marriage Theory when I wrote it almost 5 years ago. Since then, I've done some editing and fixed some plot holes. Because this story (and book 1 in the series) has undergone so many edits and rewrites, the series itself doesn't correlate as well as they should. Each book in the series is a standalone so there's no major affect but, small inaccuracies will be noticed when you read Book 2 and 3 (which can be found on my profile). That being said, I still encourage you to give the other books a try and follow me here on Wattpad to receive news of the revised, rewritten Book 2 and 3.

Book 2 of this series - the new version - is now available on my profile under the title of Planning on Forever. Be sure to add it to your profile. It is currently still in progress but chapters are already up for your reading.

This year, I was offered an opportunity to enter this story into the Paid Stories Program. It was a decision that I did not take hastily and one I considered fully. The last thing I want to do is take a story so many love, and make it inaccessible for the them. I also didn't want to come across as greedy but, as I considered the opportunity more, I realized it was too good an opportunity to ignore.

Getting this kind of recognition for a story that I have literally been fixing, working on and pouring so much of myself into for almost 5 years, is something that means everything to me. It's easy as a writer to diminish my efforts and ability; to convince myself I'm not that good. It's through programs like this, and readers who message, comment, vote and -hopefully pay- for the story that let me know all my effort isn't done in vein.

I hope that you're all able to understand my decision to make this a Paid story and I hope that you're still willing to support me as a writer so that I may continue to bring you stories that make you laugh, cry, scream, swoon and hide away in second-hand embarrassment from.

This story will only officially enter the Paid program on the 21st April 2021. From that point onwards, you will only be able to read the first 7 chapters for free before a paywall pops up and you'll be asked to unlock the rest of the story using coins. You will be able to either unlock the book chapter by chapter or buy the whole thing at once.

If you live in one of the following countries there's an option to earn coins simply by watching ads: United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabi, Qatar, Israel, Croatia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. More countries keep being added. If you have any more questions, you can check out the Paid Stories FAQ.

Before reading further, please take note of the following trigger warnings: bullying, sexual abuse and mentions of miscarriage. Each chapter where these tough themes are mentioned, will have a trigger warning. Please always take care when reading these chapters and remember that your mental health is important. If it's too much, don't read it.

This story is one so dear to me because it's about some themes that mean a lot to me; specifically self-image/body issues, gender equality and the importance of self love above love and validation from someone else. It would mean the world to me if you took a chance on this book and hopefully, find some comfort in the story of Nick and Annabelle.

I look forward to reading your responses and hopefully, you'll fall in love too at the end.

- Keri.
