We all got in the car to head to football and cheerleading.
"We all buckled in?" Says shay buckling his own seatbelt.
"I guess?" Said emmi, her buckle wouldn't work and she was shy to say it didn't.
"Ok then, we're off!"
Shay pulled out of the driveway and onto the highway for about a 25 minute drive to football and cheer.
It was quiet in the car, really quiet.
There was traffic so Shay had slowed down the car and stopped.
"Dad! Look out!" Yelled Gavin as a car came flying into them which caused emmi to hit her head on the roof, gavin losing his breath for a minute, shay screaming, and Avia in a coma.

The ambulance came flying by, taking emmi and avia and leaving me and dad alone to call mom.
Shay dialed Colette's number and walked away as Gavin fell to his knees crying.
It was at this moment that gavin remembered that he loved them.
