The promt that this follows is 65. On the way to collect a soul the Grim Reaper is distracted by a stray puppy. Instead of completeing the task, he decides to find the puppy's owner, much to the frustration of his assistant.
This is a PJO fanfic, it occurs 2 years after the Blood of Olympus but The Trials of Apollo never happened.

Life: Jett was born in 1992 but was kept by his father in the underworld until he was 15 when he was told to 'stay' in the Lotus Casino where time passed until just before the battle with Gaia when his father knew he would need to help souls to the underworld. It has now been 2 years since the battle and he is getting bored doing the same thing and no-one knows he exists.
