They decided to go to a bar,
not mel's usual hangout,
but she was always up for new things,
boy was that a mistake.
Dancing, dancing, dancing,
they did have fun,
she saw all the people around her,
looking too fake to be real.
They looked like they were made from plastic,
real life barbies was their goal,
a few pins in their skin,
made them feel perfect.
She never understood people with surgery,
having someone re-constructing your face,
especially since it was forever.
How did they afford it she wondered,
how did they commit to it?
It was a forever transformation,
you'd just get bored of it she thought.
She thought it was such a shame,
when little girls grew into their mothers face,
after all,
they were just going to change it anyway.
It was like what she saw online,
the pictures coming to life,
of girls puckering up their lips,
until they suffocate.
One girl came up to him,
her once soft skin, now looking like leather,
grinding on his hips,
he looked terrified.
Mel ran out as fast as she could,
not wanting to see her botched up face again,
she ran to the nearest place,
a small park across the street.

If you can't tell all the chapters are based of Melanie's songs,
idk I thought it was creative.
Also like last week CryBaby was released so I can finally be more descriptive with the chapters as I now know what the songs are about.
Also the crybaby storybook is an awful lot like this story which is weird, I promise I didn't copy it as this story came out before the storybook!
