A girl lay sprawled on her bed, munching on a candy while reading a novel.
"Wow... she actually kept my name? But damn, she's ruthless. How can she kill innocent people like that? And she killed her own husband too? Wow. What a rascal she is," she muttered, flipping the pages faster.

She read straight to the end.
"Very good, very dramatic. Still... I pity her. She loved him so much she straight-up lost her conscience for him. And he... married someone else and killed her in the end. She got her retribution but... ugh, pity her love got wasted on a scumbag."

She shut the book with a heavy thud, popped another candy into her mouth, and sprawled back to sleep.

One minute later

The candy lodged in her throat.
Her vision darkened.

Her last thought: Am I dying now? Is this seriously the end?!!!

She jolted awake.

A soft bed. A huge soft bed. A fancy interior that definitely didn't belong to her budget life. Except... this wasn't normal fancy.
The walls shimmered with holo-silver runes, and the mattress felt like zero-gravity foam used by nobles in star empires.

"Did I... come to heaven? Why is this bed so good?" She sat up and froze.

Her clothes had changed. The fabric felt rich, embroidered with luminescent threads, straight-up royal.

She slid off the bed, dazed, and noticed a group of maids preparing breakfast on floating trays.

"Good morning, General," they greeted her respectfully.

She pointed at herself. "What did you just call me...? General? Where am I??"

The maids exchanged confused looks.
"General, this is the A Empire. You just returned from war. You're expected to report to the Emperor."

She stood there, dumbfounded—then realization hit her like a truck.

No way... no freaking way.

She was in the novel she had read before sleeping.
And the character she had possessed was the same vicious woman she hated General Ren.

Same name. Same attitude. Same fate.

She fell backward onto the bed, accepting her doom.

Then pain. A sharp stab in her head. Memories, someone else's memories, flooded her mind memories filled with starfields, mecha battles, plasma blades, and interstellar warfare.

"...So I'm at the point where the war just ended, and I need to report to the Emperor... and this is where she gets forced into that marriage with the minister's son." She sighed deeply.

This world was flipped from hers
Here, women were the fighters, the powerful ones, the respected ones.
And men...
Especially big, muscular men were considered blurry and unattractive.
Delicate, soft-featured men were the adored ones, the "beauties" of society and loved by all.

And General?
She'd been forced into marriage with a big, blurry man, a man society considered undesirable as a direct insult to her status.

She rubbed her temples.
"I read the novel... I know this whole mess was planned by that stupid prince she works for. They wanted her tied down and distracted."

"And later, the husband rebels for men's rights... and dies in her hands. Even though he's stronger than her physically? How did she even kill him so easily in one night...? That part never made sense."

She sighed again.
"Well... now that I'm here, maybe I can solve that mystery."

She stood up decisively.
"First step: cut ties with that idiotic prince. Second: treat my husband better. If he's not a bad guy from the start, I can't just watch him fall like that. It'll go against my conscience."
