Prologue

3rd POV
*Beep Beep Beep*

That's the only sound you could hear apart from mama sobbing in the conner of the empty halls of the hospital.A few moments the doctor came out of the emergency.
"Doctor what is wrong with my child?"mama asked quietly
The doctor said," He is okay........."
A whisper of Alhamdulillah went around.
The doctor said "Please follow me my office"
Mama and daddy followed the doctor.
The place remained quiet everyone drowned in their own thoughts,hoping for good news.

*In the doctors office*
The doctor started "Mr and Mrs Wali,
What I'm going to tell you is indeed very serious! Your child survived something most people couldn't,his heart issue was triggered! Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?
Daddy moved closer " what do think caused it?"
"the young man is stressed, he lacks proper sleep and nourishment.
Also something or someone is bothering him.
Please and please be careful cause we might not be able to save him next time!
Daddy sighed and replied " thank you doctor"
He stood up and left,mama followed quietly behind him.

Mualim's POV
He came down from one of his favorite car a Mc laren 720s. He just came back from the gym and he wanted to talk to mama about Rasheeda.
He went on to press the bell and a maid opened the door from him, she greeted him and tried to offer him something but he dismissed her. He walked up the magnificent staircase leading up stairs, he reached mama's room,knocked and said his Salam. She was on her bed smiling which made him happy. He greeted and
hugged her.

"How are you?" Mama said
"I'm fine Alhamdulillah just got back from the gym." Mualim said
"Mhmmmm I can see"mama said
There was a short silence followed by mualim " mama please I need to tell you something but don't over react, You know I don't want to hurt anybody and you know I consider everyone before myself!"Go on Mualim what is it?" Mama said " I came to the decision that I can't continue courting Rasheeda, I'm deeply sorry."
Mama said disappointed," what happened I thought you like her?She is such a sweet girl,she is indeed one in a million!"

Mualim Sighed he's tired of this . No one cares about how he feels, well maybe they do but he just doesn't like Rasheeda anymore yes she is a good person with an excellent personality but his heart belongs to someone else and he tired to give Rasheeda another chance but everything goes back to her. Haldiya,my noor in every darkness.

His mom didn't like how silent he was so she said " Mualim I will be very disappointed with you if you don't marry Rasheeda! I told you that several times and I'm serious. Don't allow these girls you see everywhere to deceive you! Auren su ba ze haifama da me ido bah! Kana jina koh?Rasheeda is the type of person that would go through anything with you and for you!"
Mualim didn't react
"Mualim what is it that you want that Rasheeda doesn't have! Everyone is looking out for you because she is a gem, your uncle helped you with your business because of her,everyone in the Wali family likes her,do you know how rare that is? Tohm ni dai na gaya maka,
I will be disappointed in you if you don't marry her!"

She stood up about to leave.
Mualim still lost in his thoughts

Mualim raised his head and said,"are you manipulating me to marry someone that I'm not that interested in?"
Mama," what do you mean? You dated before, you loved her once! How hard is it to love her again. You Initiated the breakup. So what are you saying?"
Mualim said" mama I love you and for your sake and for the sake of everyone who helped me, I tried I tried loving her but ......
I can't my heart belongs to another person!I don't want to cheat on her she doesn't deserve that, I don't want to marry  two wives no I can't! Mama I'm deeply sorry but please let Rasheeda  go let me marry the person I love please."

He was about to open the door when mama said" if you don't marry Rasheeda don't consider me your mom!"
Mualim turned, shocked, hurt how could she take it this far. "Mama can you hear yourself?" he said
"Yes Wallahi tallahi if not Rasheeda no other girl will be my daughter inlaw "
This is exactly what he didn't want but then it takes two to tango
"Okay then I will never get married "Mualim said and left the room
"MUALIM"mama screamed " yaushe ka fara shaye-shaye, kana da hankali kuwa!
All because of a stupid girl, what does she have that Rasheeda doesn't have? Eh I'm asking you answer me!"

Mualim eyes red with tears said " mama don't ever insult her you don't know her and don't compare her to Rasheeda!"
Ahhh lalai ta mah ashiri keh nan! Mama said
"Mama don't say that she is not like that!And I'm done with this conversation!"

He went out of the front door and left the house driving full speed not knowing where he was going even though his head was jumbled haldiya was the only thing that made sense.
He tried calling haldiya just as he was about to cut the call she picked but she was mad and from her voice I knew she was mad and disappointed ," Mr Man, listen and listen to me carefully just because I've always been nice to you doesn't mean you can walk all over me!
You cannot talk to me today and ghost me for a week! I am not begging for attention and or love! Yes I had feelings for you or maybe I still do but I'm tired of being your second choice so leave me alone!" She ended the call but I didn't care she said she liked me! I parked the car and came out for fresh air that is what I needed! I called Adam my cousin to tell him he picked up on the second ring
Adam" how far?"
Mualim said sobbing" I broke her Adam I broke her !You kept telling me that she also likes me but I kept on denying now I broke her!Shit!" Mualim clutched his heart
"Wherever you are stop,I checked your location I'm coming to you!" Adam said
"Please do"Mualim said
By the time Adam arrived Mualim was at the verge of collapsing,he helped him to the car and drove at full speed to the hospital. Daddy called Mualim and adam had to pick to inform him that he was in the emergency room.
