Love and Surpises

Graduation ball came..we are at my house preparing for the bignight..2 days from this day we will end our life as a highschool student and face another chapter as a freshmen in college.
It was a great night, im feeling better after the derrick thing..yes i admit it im still not full move on but i got his answers after that talk and im not hoping that he will show up and pleading things to me.

"Are you ok? You should be happy..." sabi ni nathan

"I am happu..anjan kayo..paanu ba naman ako hindi magiging masaya..ill join you in the dance floor later"

"Sige..puntahan ko lang sila dun..sumunod ka ha.."

Tumango lanh ako..at bumalik sa focus ko sa kinakain ko...iniisip na i will be better and this night will be great..after this im out in this school and go to the best university in manila. I decided to take psycology and proceed to medical school after..i will spend 8 years in studying and ill be a doctor.
Nakikita ko sila sa dance floor..sumasayaw,nagtatawanan..and im ready to join them.

"Are ready to dance...with me?"

Hindi ko alam kung kaninong boses yun..pero namukhaan ko ang kamay..."derrick?"

"Anu..sasayaw ka ba o tutunganga lang tayo dito"

Inabot ko ang kamay niya,and i smile looking at him.

"You seems to be nervous..loosen up..its just me"

"Some is happy" sabad ni karen

"Wow! Ikaw na ang mahaba ang buhok!" dagdag ni carol

"Im happy for you beh...hoi! Ikaw derrick ha..last na yun ha!" dagdag uli ni cheryl

"Yes ma'am..ill take care of him"

"Taray..babae ka baks? Im happy for you!" masayang sabi ni nathan.

Its a slow dance and its kinda awkward kasi nakatayo parin kami..kahit deam yung ilaw..alam ko someone students saw us.

"shit! Pwede umupo na tayo?"

"Why...nahihiya ka?"

"A little and its awkward kasi im feeling na nakatingin sila sa atin"

"Fine...but you'll get use to it"

We go back to our table..hanggang sa makaupo kami and he still holding my hand...

"Wait,tayo ba?"
"Ayaw mo ba?"
"Syempre gusto..pero..."
"Ok...ill explain..im an ass...nung nangyari yun...i did feel something, i was indenial but i feel it..kaya sinubukan na na labanan at hindi ka makita, but it hurts, it crashes me...sabi ko sa sarili ko..why don't i give a try"

"Ah try? So trial and error lang pala toh?"

"No...its what i meant..ill give if this would work out for the two of us."
"I like you mark..i love you!"

Wow..nabingi ata ako nung narinig ko yung sinabi niya sa akin

"Hey..narinig mo yung sinabi niya?" tanong ko kay nathan

"Asus...bibingihan ka pa..gusto mo lang ipaulit noh?" tukso.ni nathan

"Anu nga uli sinabi mo?" tanong ko uli kay derrick

"Sabi ko i like you and i love you!"

"Ok! I love you too derrick"

Niyakap niya ako at nakita ko yung mga kaibigan ko na masaya para sa akin. And im happy for me. Akala ko it would be just happy that night will end but exceeded my expectation and its more than i ask for. I have derrick now and im so much or in the cloud 9 of happiness.
