It didn't take long for him to figure out the situation, after all it was quite obvious now that he paid attention.
He felt a complicated mix of emotions, how come he only found out now? He asked with a frown.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
There were many things Alora didn't tell him, how would she know which one he was referring to? She was quite puzzled and nervous so she carefully asked.
"Tell ....what?"
"Your eyes."
Alora's eyes widend, eyes? she blinked, it took her a little while before she could finally respond.
'I was caught huh? When did I mess up?'
She sighed and said slowly.
"I should have told you..., sorry."
Feeling guilty, she started to explain herself, her fingers fidgeting on her lap.
"But I didn't know what to do, staying in the hotel was too boring...coming here was fun in some ways. I'm sorry."
'I swear I wasn't trying anything fishy!'
Jin woo looked at the small apologetic smile on her lips, and sighed, to think anyone would find a dungeon fun.
Other than him.
"Did it do any good?"
Jin woo asked, it was about whatever the recovery potion he gave her helped or not.
It was a full body recovery potion, it normally healed any wounds or internal injuries he ever has, but it didn't seem like it helped Alora in any way.
Alora couldn't see, but she still wasn't able to bear his gaze and shrank back, muttering a slow and soft 'no'
"We're going back."
Jin woo declared, his voice serious with no room for negotiation.
He received a pass as a reward after clearing a level, if he used it he could go back right then.
But Alora wasn't having any of that.
"No, we're not."
Jin woo looked at her, she had pale complection, skinny arms and a sunken face, with eyes holding all the tiredness in the world, his frown deepened.
"You're sick."
"I'm always sick. Sigh.....listen..."
Alora said stubbornly, it's not like it she has been better even for a moment since all of this started?
Jin woo nodded and said very seriously, determined to debunk her argument, whatever it might be.
"I'm listening."
"...umm...you need to level up."
Alora said a little hesitantly. What was she supposed to say?
'So troublesome...'
"I can come back here again."
Jin woo answered without much thought.
It was the dungeon from the system, from what he could understand, he could indeed come back here, if he wanted.
And Alora of course, reading the novel, also knew.
"I know that...but it won't be any use either way. Why waste time?"
Even if they went out, then what? Could she be cured? Could she get better?
There's no point in going back. She might as well spend her time in here than in a boring white hospital.
