A year ago, ordinariness filled my life. Family business, friends hangouts, school homework. Basically everyday was a repetition of the day before, albeit the minor differences like what I ate for breakfast. Everything was the same. Nothing was the same. It was a happy time I lived through. It was a boring time I lived through. It was lively. It was lifeless.

Things seemed perfect. People envied my storm-less life of the age thirteen.

I somewhat envied myself too. It was pretty boring, but I have family, time, friends, even if I only see them at school, to help me along. Though...

'Raphael my dear!' A voice rang out from downstairs. I groaned. My chain of thoughts had broke. Back to what I was trying to... 'Ralphie~'

I have family, time, friends to help me along. However, the family part was damned annoying.

Sometimes, I wished they can just get out of my life, I used to think, as most teenagers have done. Though the difference, which I hadn't known back then, was...
