She happily replied to her own question.

"It's the demon king, Baran, monarch of white flame!"

She said very casually but only she knew how much time and brain power she used to remember the boss's name and title.

This was the second time, Jin woo heard the term 'monarch' from her, so he asked.

"Monarch?"

"Ancient beings that were created alongside rulers; rulers protect, monarchs destroy, that's all I know."

Alora answered in a standard text book manner, truth to be told, she did indeed prepare a set of answers to Jin woo's many questions, in case she forgets.

She was standing far away from where Jin woo was but the shock wave of battle still came her way.

If she was a in peak condition, she wouldn't have bat an eye.

But she wasn't.

She already set a foot in grave, and the other was going to be put soon enough.

Naturally she was affected by the Smokey environment and and wild mana activity around her.

Her head buzzed, she was unable to hear outside noise.

Guh

She spat a blob of red liquid, her head aching terribley.

Ugh

'This again.....'

But unlike what she expected, it didn't stop there, she vomitted whatever she ate this morning and probably all the blood her body had.

It hurts.

It hurts...

'Mom..'

Not being able to stand up anymore she sat down, withdrawing mana from her legs.

They were useless now.

She kind of knew this could happen, but still choose to stubbornly come, she didn't want to sit still and wait for death.

It was too humiliating.

Too disquieting.

...

A few minutes later, Jin woo returned, he was done with the boss, and got the pass to enter the next level.

Seeing Alora sitting on the floor, he rushed upto her.

"What's the matter?"

Alora smiled, she could see his shilotude, she turned her head and replied noncholonty.

"It was too tiring for me stand."

She looked pale and exhausted, other than that there was nothing wrong.

Of course there was nothing else, Alora already wiped out the crime scene, she was a control type, just take the ground and flip and flatten, simple enough.

To be honest she always looked pale and exhausted, so it wasn't much to worry about, but Jin woo had a bad feeling about her sudden detoriation in health.

He purchased a healing potion and handed it to her.

After drinking the liquid, Alora's face lit up, she felt much better!

Although it wasn't much, but she didn't feel nausea anymore!

They continued on with their journey, Swiftly climbing up the levels.

...

Alora was sitting on top of a rock, holding a half eaten potion bottle; far away from the battle of Jin woo.

She didn't want to drink it anymore.

It was no use.

Nothing would work.

Even after she got instant recovery, her berserk mana would still destroy all the progress, she had many of three potions, none of it had any effect.

All roars of monsters went dead quit, only a line footsteps neared her.

It was time to go,

Alora stood up and took a step forward.

Thump.

She fell headfirst into the ground, she tripped on a rock!

Jin woo ran forward and helped her sit up, she dusted herself looked up with a smile and said.

"I'm fine, thanks."

Jin woo started at her, she was thanking him, yes, but she wasn't looking at him at all, her gaze was directed at the position he 'should' have been, not where he currently was.
