Due Date Part Three

Penelope and Luke were taking a nap together in the hospital bed. The baby was in with the other babies. They still had not picked out a name. It was hours of labor and Penelope was of course nackered. Penelope was faced to Luke and Luke to her. She was in his arms and head on shoulder.

There was then a knock at the door.Luke, thinking it might be a nurse said: "Come in."

"Hi." Said Pen's mother. She came in slowly. "Oh your napping. I'll just wait out in the hallway."

Penelope smiled at her and went back to sleep. 15 minutes later, another knock. "Can I come in?" Her Dad came in.

Penelope's eyes slowly opened and she yawned. "Yeah, fine."

Daniel came in and so did Jane and they smiled. "How are you?" Her Mom asked.

"Tired." She deadpanned.

Jane and Daniel laugh. "I know. Where's the kid?" Daniel asked.

"Napping as well."

"Okay, well just relax and I'm sure you'll see him soon." Jane said.

A few days later, It was time to go home and Pen was rolled out. Luke had the car seat and Daniel pulled the car around and Luke got Tyler buckled in. Jane got in the backseat, Luke sat in the other seat, buckled in and Penelope sat up front, buckled in and they all drove away from the hospital.

They drove back to Penelope and Luke's place and parked near by, got out. Luke got the car seat out again (with Tyler in it) and they walked inside and up the stairs and Pen unlocked the front door and they all went inside. They all admired baby Tyler and Pen and Luke found themselves falling asleep on the couch, then kept waking up. Finally Daniel. "Why don't you two sleep in your room and we'll watch him. If he needs a feeding, we'll wake you Pen."

Pen nodded and she and Luke walked into their room and slept. Pen, smiling in her sleep that this is her life now.

A/N: So this is the last one of these for a while. I'm trying to came up with a new story in general, but not with Luke and Penelope. But, who knows? Maybe I might miss them and might come up with something else.
