CLEO'S POV

I wanted to cry as I saw the result of the test.

"Baby" masuyong tawag sa akin ng asawa ko saka ako niyakap.

"Is there any problem with me?" I asked Courtney.

She smile apologetically. "You're perfectly fine, Cleo. Wala kayong problemang mag-asawa. Maybe you should just wait for God's perfect time" she gently said.

I force out a smile and nod my head slowly.

Umalis na kami ng clinic ni Courtney at nag-lunch sa isang restaurant.

"Hey" my husband gently called. He held my hand resting on the table.

"I'm sorry" I said in almost a whisper. I tried my best to prevent my tears from falling.

"For what?" he asked.

I look down my lap and I can't help but cry.

"Cleo, it's okay. You don't have to apologize for that. Wala kang kasalanan. The baby will come in perfect time. Am I rushing you?" he worriedly asked.

I shook my head.

He's not rushing me. No one is. But I can't help but be disappointed.

We're almost four months married and I can't still give him a child. I am starting to think that there is something wrong with me no matter how many times Courtney assured me that I am perfectly fine.

My husband wants a child. I want to bear his child as well.

We are doing our best. I am eating healthy nutritious foods. But I am still not pregnant.

"Don't stress yourself, baby" he pleaded.

He stood up and went to my side. He pulled me up and hug me tight.

"I love you" he whispered.

"I love you" I said while crying in his chest.

"Where are we going?" I asked my husband. Napansin ko kasi na sa airport papunta ang sasakyan namin.

"Thailand" he replied.

Kumunot ang noo ko. "Wala kang trabaho?"

"I'm on leave. Trent agreed" he winks at me.
