The next day in Language Arts, I managed to avoid talking to Troye as much as possible – no matter how many times the words "Mousey" or "Shy Kid" escaped his mouth.

"Mousey, you don't understand, I'm in need of a pencil" Troye spoke up, while everybody else was doing their work with their pencils.

"Troye, you think that you would've learned by now" Hannah snickered from behind him, handing him a pencil. "Now stop bothering the poor kid and do your work." It amazed me that Hannah is actually friends with Troye. He does nothing but cause Trouble, yet she always manages to hang out with him. I can tell she tries her best to stop Troye from getting in trouble, but she usually ends up failing and just causes even more trouble.

Ah Friendship at its finest.

I like to think that Ingrid and I have a unique friendship as well. We've known each other since we were little, but we never actually hung out until Middle school. She's my neighbor, but we had two totally different groups of friends, then when our friend groups broke apart in Middle School, Ingrid and I hung out – thus creating a beautiful friendship.

We can tell each other anything and everything. She was the first person I came out to and I hers. We're practically related at this point.

Once the bell had finally rung, I quickly gathered my stuff and left the classroom in search for Ingrid. But with just my luck, a certain bad boy was calling me down. "Mousey!" he called out, trying to catch up to my fast pace. "Mousey why are you ignoring me?"

Once Ingrid came into view, I quickly paced over to her locker and stood next to her, shielding myself from Troye. "Mousey, Red Lips!" He called, his voice closer. Ingrid had a puzzled look on her face as she turned around to become face to face with Troye.

"Who you calling Red Lips?" She raised an eyebrow at Troye, closing her locker shut.

"You" he snickered. "Listen, I don't want to cause any drama, Red Lips, I just want to know why Mousey over here is ignoring me"

"Why would you care?" Ingrid crossed her arms over her chest, her eyebrows still raised. Ingrid may be shy, but dang, she sure is confident when it comes to back talking Troye. "we have names, you know"

Troye rolled his eyes and took a deep breath. "Okay, whatever Izzy, just tell you buddy Colin to stop ignoring me or he's going to regret it"

"Her name is Ingrid" Hannah spoke up "and his is Connor" she corrected her friend, making Ingrid blush and me laugh because oh, did Ingrid have a crush on Hannah

"Whatever" Troye sighed, rolling his eyes once more and turning on his heels. Before anybody could say anything more, Troye walked off with Hannah on tow.

"What's his problem?" I commented, hugging my books tighter as I leaned my shoulder against the locker next to Ingrids.

"He's always trying to cause problems" Ingrid sighed, shutting her locker and looking at me. "I don't get him at all. What's so fun about being the bad boy?"

Troye was definitely confusing, and I can easily tell why he only has one friend. And to be frank, it surprises me that Hannah still sticks around him.

There's got to be more than the eye can see with this kid, but I'm not sure what it is. I'll figure him out eventually, I know it.

"Alright, so I'll see you at rehearsal, right?" Ingrid asked, breaking me from my brief thoughts.

"Yeah, see you then"

And that's exactly what happened only a few hours later. I was backstage again with Ben, Troye, and Hannah. Troye and Hannah were having a blast doing absolutely nothing while Ben was getting more frustrated by the minutes
