Bsd meets beast Bsd

Chapter 17 (Chapter 1 - part 11 in the novel)

Day two.It was Parents' Day at one of the orphans' schools, so Akutagawaparticipated on behalf of the child's guardian.

"My my. When did you adopt a child without my knowledge?" Beast Atsushi asked playfully while Beast Akutagawa was flustered, both trying to deny the claim and seeing Beast Atsushi smile at him.

Ranpo leaned towards Dazai's ears and whispered "so whipped" causing the latter to agree while smirking.  

The old wooden floor was a caramel brown. One of the walls wasplastered with hiragana calligraphy. The gym teacher's shouts echoed fromthe field. The hallways were freshly painted white.And standing in the back of the classroom were the students' parentsand guardians, all of whom seemed restless. Half were worried about theirchild acting up in class. As for the other half, however...

"I bet my entire salary that the other half is worried about Akutagawa being there." Tachihara said causing both Akutagawas to glare at him. 

"Your Salary isn't worth betting." Gin said causing the other to engage in a fierce argument. 

"Hey... Whose father is that?""He's staring daggers at the teacher, that's for sure.""Are we in danger here? Because he looks like a hitman if you askme..."

"That would be kind of close if they were talking about Akutagawa from this world. " Dazai said causing Akutagawa to be internally happy about being noticed by his mentor while Beast Akutagawa just glared at the Dazai with full hatred.  

The rest anxiously whispered about Akutagawa as he impassively staredahead. Nevertheless, he did not seem to care in the least. He stood stiffly atattention while simply watching the lecture with nothing specific on hismind.

 "All right. Who can read what this says?" the teacher asked the studentsas she pointed at what was written on the blackboard. 

No student raisedtheir hand, so she cocked her head and frowned.

 "Really? No one?" 

Akutagawa glanced over at one of the girls Oda had taken in. She wasfidgeting in her chair and looking around anxiously. She was hesitant toraise her hand, since she was shy about answering all by herself.Akutagawa faintly clicked his tongue, and the little girl immediately beganraising her hand into the air. She looked at her hand in surprise, but it didn'tstop. A piece of gray fabric was wrapped around her wrist.

"Ho ho, who would think that Akutagawa could actually make a good guardian." Mori said. (A/N get the Pei Ming reference?).

"Yeah, unlike you." Yosano said shutting him up. 

"Oh, Sakura! Great. Want to give it a shot?" 

"U-um... Okay... It... It s-says 'house'..."

 "That's right! Good job." 

The guardians all oohed and aahed in admiration. Right as the little girlanswered, the cloth released her wrist before crawling on the ground andreturning to Akutagawa's overcoat.He appeared slightly pleased.

"Yeah like a parent." Beast Atsushi said. 

Beast Akutagawa didn't know what came over him but he leaned forward and whispered "Only if you'd be the other." 

A look of surprise came over Beast Atsushi before he gave a small smile to Beast Akutagawa and whispered back "Is that a confession Mr. detective?" 

"You could say that." was the reply he got. 

Dazai and Ranpo, who heard the whole conversation squealed like love struck girls causing Chuuya and Kunikida to give weirded out looks.
