"Boss..." Felix whispered, his voice a fragile thread, as he looked up at the man who held his entire world in his hands.
The mafia boss, Hyunjin, sat before him, an imposing figure of tailored darkness, a half-smoked cigar gripped casually between his lips.
The air in the opulent study was thick with the scent of fine tobacco, leather, and an unspoken danger.
"Hmm?" Hyunjin hummed, a low, resonant sound that vibrated more than it spoke.
He didn't spare a glance for the boy. His attention seemed to be entirely consumed by the amber glow of the dying cigar tip.
Felix stood frozen, a picture of desperate misery. He was clad in a delicate, almost absurdly out-of-place frock, the ruffled trim now crumpled and damp as he clenched the fabric with white-knuckled fists. He was on the verge of tears, his slight frame already trembling.
"I-I can't..." Felix mumbled, the words barely audible. A ragged sob tore itself from his throat, and a single, glistening tear escaped, tracing a hot path down his cheek before splashing silently onto the rich Persian rug.
Finally, the silence of the room cracked. Hyunjin slowly removed the cigar from his mouth, the action deliberate and unnervingly calm.
He set it down on the heavy crystal ashtray, the fragile clink a shocking sound in the quiet space.
His eyes, the color of a winter storm, finally lifted, settling on the trembling figure of the boy.
Felix was looking at him with red, teary eyes, his whole body now violently trembling with fear, a fear that was less about the man and more about the inevitable confrontation.
"What do you mean?" Hyunjin asked, the question itself is a low, dangerous growl. His voice, usually smooth and commanding, was now edged with a predatory sharpness.
The change was instant and terrifying. He rose from the couch. The movement was fluid, graceful, yet held the coiled tension of a jungle cat.
The air pressure in the room seemed to drop as he began to walk towards the trembling figure. Every step was measured, echoing the inexorable approach of doom.
Felix squeezed his eyes shut, wishing desperately for the world to swallow him whole. He could hear the soft, expensive leather of Hyunjin’s shoes on the polished floor, the sound getting closer, closer—until it stopped right in front of him.
And then, with brutal speed, Hyunjin closed the remaining distance. He didn't touch him gently; he grabbed him, his hand slamming out to pin Felix flat against the nearby wall.
The sudden impact stole the air from Felix’s lungs, and a small, wounded gasp escaped him.
"What do you mean you can't?" Hyunjin's voice dropped an octave, becoming a husky, intimate threat that vibrated through Felix's chest.
"Huhh? Tell me," he demanded, his fingers curling like iron around Felix's jaw, his grip harsh and unyielding. The pain was sharp, forcing the boy's head back.
Felix bit down on his lower lip, trying to hold back another sob. The sheer terror of the moment was paralyzing.
He kept his eyes squeezed tightly, unable to face the darkened intensity
he knew would be in Hyunjin's gaze.
"I can't continue... whatever is going in between us," Felix finally forced out, the words ragged and uneven, but carrying a desperate finality.
He had collected a sliver of courage, enough to peel his eyes open and look directly into Hyunjin’s face.
"And you know the reason behind it..." he finished, his own desperate pain mirroring the darkened depths he saw in Hyunjin's eyes.
Hyunjin's response was a harsh, humorless laugh that held no mirth, only malice. His grip on Felix's jaw tightened further, the pressure surely enough to leave marks—purple-red badges of ownership.
"And who made you think I can let you go?" he snarled, his lips practically brushing Felix's ear, a sickening parody of intimacy.
"After everything you did with me in the past?" He twisted the word 'with' into an ugly accusation, ignoring the context of coercion that hung heavy between them.
"You know this is wrong," Felix pleaded, the tears now free-flowing. His voice was raw, his spirit breaking.
"And how long will you go on breaking me like this? You have everything... but here I am... I am just a sl—"
But Hyunjin didn't let him finish the degrading word. With a sudden, savage motion, he pressed his lips against Felix’s, a suffocating, possessive kiss that was not fueled by passion, but by a desperate, toxic need for control.
It was a silencing, a claiming, a physical manifestation of his refusal to let go.
Felix tasted the lingering spice of the cigar on Hyunjin's mouth, a familiar, unsettling flavor that always heralded his domination.
He struggled weakly, the frills of the frock catching between their bodies, a flimsy barrier against the crushing weight of Hyunjin's power. He knew then that his courage had been pointless.
The cage had not been unlocked; the key had simply been turned tighter. He was his, now and for as long as Hyunjin decided.
Hyunjin pulled back, his breath ragged, his eyes blazing with a mixture of dark desire and cold fury.
He didn't release Felix's jaw, keeping him immobilized and captive.
"You will never speak that word again," Hyunjin commanded, his voice shaking with a terrifying intensity.
"You are mine, Lix. Mine. And you will stay here, where I can see you, where I can touch you. You don't get a choice. Not ever. Do you understand?"
Felix stared back, the red in his eyes not just from tears, but from a burning, helpless despair.
He couldn't speak, couldn't nod. He could only close his eyes once more, accepting the undeniable reality: this life, this man, this pain—it was all he had left.
The tear tracks on his face were cold now, but the mark on his jaw was just beginning to burn. The whisper of his protest had been crushed by the roar of his captivity....
