Kenji

My chest heaved as I pulled back, every muscle still trembling from the release. For a moment, I just stood there, steadying myself, listening to the sound of our ragged breaths filling the quiet of the room. Eden leaned against the counter, her back glistening faintly under the city lights, her body still trembling. God, she was beautiful—more than beautiful.

I reached for her hand, our fingers still interlaced from moments before, and slowly eased her upright. She turned into me instinctively, her cheek pressing against my chest. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close, grounding both of us. Her heartbeat thrummed against mine, quick, alive, perfectly matched to the rhythm still echoing in my body.

"I didn't mean to lose myself like that," I murmured against her hair, brushing my lips over the crown of her head. My voice was rough, still uneven, but honest. "You make me forget everything—discipline, control, all of it disappears when I'm with you."

She tilted her face up, her lips curved in the faintest smile, her eyes soft. "Maybe you're not supposed to control everything with me."

Her words struck deeper than she knew. I cupped her jaw, tilting her chin so I could kiss her, softer this time—no urgency, no frenzy, just tenderness. She melted into it, her arms sliding around my waist, holding me as if she'd never let go.

For a long while, we stayed like that, tangled in each other, the chaos of moments ago dissolving into quiet intimacy. The mess on the floor, the city buzzing just outside the glass—all of it faded into the background. There was only her breath against my skin, her warmth pressed to mine, the knowledge that tonight, she was here with me.

"I don't want this to end," I admitted quietly, almost to myself, but I knew she heard.

Her fingers traced idle circles on my back. "Then don't let it."

I closed my eyes, tightening my hold on her, silently vowing that I wouldn't. Not now. Not ever.

I Love this women. Kenji said to himself.
