Leader of the Decepticons and scourge of the universe, Megatron is a ruthless tyrant who will destroy anything in his path to get what he wants. during the war on Cybertron that decimated their home planet, Megatron and the Decepticons chased after the Allspark with the hopes of using its mystical power to rebuild Cybertron in his image with himself as the planet's new ruler. this led to him and his ship crash-landing on earth in the arctic circle where he was found frozen in an iceberg Spike Witwicky's great-grandfather Archibald and eventually ended up in the custody of Sector 7, all the while Starscream led the decepticons in his absence. eventually Soundwave freed Megatron from his icy prison allowing him to beat Starscream into submission and reclaim his position as the one true Decepticon leader. he is armed with his iconic wrist-mounted fusion cannon, an Energon sword, and an Energon mace. he transforms into a silver Cybertronian jet, keeping his alien vehicle form due to his personal bigotry towards the human race, as the Decepticons are incredibly xenophobic. he uses his design from thr Last Knight cause it looks very G1, also In this rewrite i chose to Spare Megatron at the end, since in my opinion killing off Megatron in the first movie was too soon and having the main villain of your franchise get constantly killed off and resurrected will get ridiculous and stupid after a while, besides having your main villain survive multiple near-death experiences gives off a sense of relentlessness so that when the time is right for his or her death it'll feel more satisfying, addtionally i potray Mgeatron in my Rewrite of the original trilogy as an unredeemable monster, as he uses his Decepticons, and later Sentinel in my Dark of the Moon rewrite to his own end.

Megatron's treacherous second-in-command of the Decepticons who took advantage of his master's sudden disappearance to take his place as leader, which puts him at odds with Soundwave who still remains loyal to Megatron even after his supposed death. Starscream denies that Megatron may be still alive, wanting to believe that his master is truly dead because he enjoys the feeling of being in charge, however his time as leader is cut short when Megatron returns and beats him into submission forcing him to surrender leadership of the Decepticons back to Megatron. during a fight with Bumblebee, Starscream ends up ripping out the young Autobot's voicebox which leads to a sort of rivalry between the two. he is armed with a pair of arm-mounted missile launchers. he transforms into an F-22 raptor fighter jet.
