Calixta returned home that evening, the soft glow of her apartment lights welcoming her back after the bustling fan-signing event. But her chest was restless, burning with a question that refused to fade.

The memory of the man lingered like a fragile flame his face, his smile, his very presence. He wasn't just similar to Luminous. He was exactly as she had imagined him.

Her mind replayed every moment, her heart leaping each time she remembered the way he had looked at her. The tilt of his jaw, the curve of his lips, the depth of his eyes, it was as though her dreams had stepped into reality. For ages, hope surged in her chest, wild and uncontainable.

What if...?

She remembered it clearly: how her voice had trembled, the word slipping out before she could stop it. The name rang in her ears, a siren call tugging her deeper into a tide she couldn't fight.

Back in her apartment now, she pressed the signed copy of her own book to her chest, clutching it like a lifeline. Her pulse was still racing, her thoughts spinning. Maybe, just maybe, Luminous had found a way back to her. Maybe he had incarnated, reborn into the world of flesh and breath.

Tears blurred her vision, but her lips curved into a trembling smile.

"It has to be you... it has to be." she whispered into the quiet.

Even as doubt tried to creep in, she clung to the memory of his gaze. That warmth. That familiarity. The way he had spoken as though answering a question she hadn't asked aloud.

It was impossible. It was insane. And yet—Calixta's heart soared with fragile, reckless hope.

Opening her laptop, her fingers trembled over the keys. She wasn't just writing now, she was reaching out. To him. To the possibility. To the miracle she had secretly longed for.

For the first time in a long time, she let herself believe.
