Cancer....Cancer..Cancer...Cancer....

The doctors, I can see it in their eyes.

The nurses, with their sympathetic stares.

My own family, the way they look at me, thinking this might be the last time they see me alive.

Nobody says it, but I know what they are scared to say.

It's getting worse.

It hurts.

It Aches.

But it's nothing, compared to the hole in my heart.

The hole that gets ripped bigger and bigger everyday when I see the way people look at me.

I must look like a sight for sore eyes, but I don't care.

I'm sick.

And I'm tired.

And I want this suffering over with.

But I'm getting worse.

My own body is changing against me, and there's nothing I can do.
