So. Within not less than three hours of arriving at 1-B Alliance, Jirou was already uncomfortable. She hadn't expected this, or maybe she had. When the homeroom teacher announced the arrangement, she had a feeling that the idea of sharing a dorm for the night would end up being traumatic. Like right now.

Whining could be heard from the kitchen counter as it was currently occupied by ten chibi rodents clutching their bloated stomachs. And she was among them. Now that she thought about it, they hadn't eaten all day till dinner. Not even more than thirty minutes had passed, and their bellies ached.

Yeah, we aren't making it to the gala.

"What made you think nuts and bread were a great idea?!"

"Don't chipmunks eat that?"

"Nuts? Sure. Bread? No. But you gave them salted nuts!"

Jirou could hear Kendo scolding Tsuburaba not far from the kitchen for dishing out salted nuts and bread to eat. Unlike some, she only ate the nuts. They tasted strange at first, but she assumed it had to do with her taste buds. On her left was Mina, who ate grapes that Tokage had offered to those craving fruits. In this case, Mina ate way too many so it was kind of deserved.

With a sigh, Kendo slipped into the kitchen with Tsuburaba following behind her. She fetched a shallow bowl and filled it with water from the sink, placing it down on the counter as she assisted the mildly lethargic chipmunks to the edge of the bowl to flush the toxins away as they drank.

"Sorry, you guys." Tsuburaba apologized as he picked up Jirou, doing the same. "I didn't think this would happen."

Jirou muttered under her breath. "You didn't think at all alright."

As Tsuburaba opened his mouth to respond, Honenuki walked in, drinking a smoothie from a nondescript cup.

"Hey." He nodded before he took a sip of his smoothie. He turned, heading for the refrigerator, before he noticed the scene of chipmunks laid flat on the counter. For a few seconds, he stared then took a noisy sip and turned to his two classmates.

"What happened?"

Kendo sighed again, placing Ojiro near the bowl's edge and guiding his head. "Tsuburaba thought it was a good idea to feed our friends here salted nuts and bread for dinner."

"Not all of them!" Tsuburaba defended. "These five," he pointed at Mineta, Satou, Mina, Momo and Aoyama, who were still flat. "ate way too many grapes!"

"It doesn't save the fact that you tried to poison us."Ojiro countered weakly as Kendo placed him down while she reached Midoriya next.

"You're lucky it's nothing too serious, and there wasn't a need for a vet. Did you bother looking up what and what not to give them?"

Jirou nodded weakly in agreement with Class B's rep as Tsuburaba placed her down to recuperate.

"It's no different from the mice I fed outside the dorm, and I took care of a hamster back in the 9th grade, feeding her similarly."

Kendo raised a brow. "You mean the hamster you always talk about? Inoue? She survived?"

"...No." The boy grimly replied.

Ouch. Jirou thought.

"Wait," Honenuki stopped sipping and looked at Tsuburaba. "You mean the dead mice near the bush in the front yard?"

"Yeah—Wait, what do you mean dead?!"

"Pony and I found a stash of chips hidden there a week ago. The mice must have gotten them and well...you know." Honenuki answered as he went back to his smoothie. Kendo resisted the urge to facepalm because she held to Momo now.
