We then made our way down the loft using the front door this time and not my window. 🪟 There was a nice summer breeze and the streets were not so busy this morning. The time is currently 10:00 Am. People are still hungover from yesterday, Friday nights are when Gotham night life is at it's peak. Tiffany has been complaining non stop about being hungry and it's not even been 5 min since we left for the Deli.
We turn left onto the corner and see Dill's Deli in bright neon sign, the D letter is broken on it so it only reads ill's, gosh he needs to get that fix. We step inside and immediately walk in on my mom haggling with the Dill on the price of our breakfast. Leave it to Harley Quinn to get a discount on some week old sandwiches sold at full price. Tiffany clutches her stomach one more time before another loud rumble is let out. It gathers the attention of the two noting our presence here.
Harley: "Cut me some slack Dill , I got starving kids over here."
Dill: "For the last time, I can't change the prices. Harley I got rent to pay."
Tiffany: "Dill my stomach is eating its self, please just give us the food."😣
Dill: "Sorry sweetie but sales price is final price."

Dill is practically family. Tiffany, Rachel and I use to help be salespeople here , when we were younger. We used to copy his fancy Italian accent, wanting to be just like him too. He thought we were annoying , but he was always there for us. He even taught us how to read and helped us with our homework. Dill was a business major before he needed to get some risky loans to pay his student debt . That then lead him into joining a gang to pay the loans back, he got busted and once he was out of prison decided too open his Deli. His the dad figure to all of us. We use to put on little stage performances for him and his customers too. We thought we'll be next big girl group. 😖 singing off key and dancing like penguins. Don't judge, if you never done that, when you were younger. You were seriously missing out.🙃 He still call's us by our stage name's. I was plum because I decided to dye my hair purple from the young age of 6, Tiff was sweetie due to her sweet tooth. and Rachel was Roxie based off her favourite movie character.
Harley: " Well I would hate to call to make a call to GCPD and tell them about your little money laundering scheme. "😬
Dill: "As harsh as ever is. Time hasn't softened your act I see."
