The rain had stopped.

But inside Jungkook's penthouse, the storm was only beginning.

Taehyung sat stiffly beside him on the couch, their hands barely brushing. His chest rose and fell too quickly, every breath sharp in his throat. Jungkook hadn't moved since lowering his forehead against his, but the weight of his presence felt heavier than iron chains.

"Why don't you run?" Jungkook murmured suddenly, voice a low growl in the silence.

Taehyung swallowed. "Do you... want me to?"

Jungkook's lips curved into something dark, something pained. "No. God, no." He lifted his head, gaze burning into Taehyung's. "But you should. You should hate me for what I did tonight. For what I keep doing."

Taehyung's eyes searched his, trembling. "And yet, you keep pulling me closer."

Jungkook exhaled shakily. He reached out, cupping Taehyung's jaw with a hand that was still faintly stained with blood. The sight should have made Taehyung recoil, but instead, his body went rigid, heat crawling up his neck.

"Do you know what that means?" Jungkook whispered.

Taehyung's lips parted. "What?"

"It means you're mine."

The words were soft, but they hit like a brand against skin. Taehyung shivered, unsure if it was from fear or something darker, deeper.

"Say it," Jungkook demanded. His thumb traced Taehyung's cheekbone, his grip firm enough to keep him from turning away. "Say you belong to me."

Taehyung's heart thundered in his chest. His instincts screamed to resist, to protect what little freedom he had. But when Jungkook leaned closer, breath hot against his ear, every thought splintered.

"I..." Taehyung faltered, voice breaking.

Jungkook's hold tightened. "Say it."

Taehyung squeezed his eyes shut. "I... I'm yours."

The confession left him trembling, his body betraying him. Jungkook inhaled sharply, as though those words were the only air he needed.

"That's right," Jungkook murmured, pressing his lips to the side of Taehyung's jaw—not quite a kiss, but close enough to burn. "Only mine. No one touches you. No one even looks at you."

Taehyung's breath hitched, his body locking between fear and longing. His skin tingled where Jungkook's lips brushed, his heart tearing itself apart.

"Do you understand?" Jungkook asked, pulling back just enough to meet his eyes. His pupils were blown wide, the predator barely leashed.

Taehyung nodded weakly, unable to speak.

But Jungkook wasn't satisfied. He wanted to hear it. He wanted it carved into Taehyung's bones.

"Say it," Jungkook ordered again.

Taehyung's voice shook. "...I understand."

Something inside Jungkook softened at last. His hand moved from Taehyung's jaw to his neck, his thumb pressing lightly over his racing pulse. For a moment, his expression flickered—still dominant, still possessive, but touched with vulnerability.

"You're the only thing keeping me sane," Jungkook whispered. "If I lose you, I'll burn everything."

Taehyung's chest constricted painfully. He should have been terrified. Maybe he was. But beneath the fear, a dangerous truth took root.

He didn't want Jungkook to let go.

Not tonight.

So when Jungkook finally leaned in, capturing his lips in a rough, claiming kiss, Taehyung didn't resist. His body trembled, his mind screamed—but his mouth parted beneath Jungkook's, surrendering to the fire.

It wasn't gentle. It wasn't tender. It was a kiss that tasted of blood and desperation, of ownership and fear.

And Taehyung kissed him back.

The line has been crossed. Jungkook's dominance is no longer implied—it's spoken, demanded, and sealed with a kiss. Taehyung, torn between fear and desire, has begun surrendering.

But surrender always comes with consequences.
