The office was quiet, too quiet. Only the faint ticking of the clock filled the silence after Jungkook's words.
"You're mine, Kim Taehyung."
The declaration replayed in Taehyung's mind like a curse. His chest rose and fell too fast, his breath shallow. He knew he should have denied it, pushed Jungkook away, reclaimed the fragile barrier between them. But his silence had been an admission.
And Jungkook had heard it loud and clear.
The CEO's eyes raked over him, sharp and consuming. "Do you have any idea what you're doing to me?"
Taehyung forced his voice steady. "This isn't right, sir. You're my boss. I'm just—"
"Just?" Jungkook snapped, his hand suddenly seizing Taehyung's wrist. "Don't you dare diminish yourself like that. Not when you've made me feel more in weeks than anyone has in years."
The words burned, both cruel and vulnerable.
"Let me go," Taehyung whispered, though he didn't pull as hard as he could have.
"Say it like you mean it."
Jungkook's grip tightened, dragging him flush against his chest. Taehyung gasped, caught off-guard by the solid heat of him, the way his heartbeat thundered against his ribs. Their faces were so close, every exhale mingled in the narrow space between them.
Taehyung's hands hovered, trembling, as if debating whether to push Jungkook away or hold on. His body betrayed him—leaning in, drawn like a moth to flame.
"Look at me," Jungkook demanded.
Taehyung obeyed, eyes wide, pupils blown.
That was all it took. Jungkook's control shattered. He crushed his mouth against Taehyung's, the kiss harsh, searing, nothing like the hesitant touches of longing that had hovered between them before. This was possession—raw and merciless.
Taehyung's breath hitched, his body stiff at first. But the longer Jungkook kissed him, the weaker his resistance grew. His lips parted under the force, his chest tightening with a cocktail of fear and hunger he couldn't untangle.
When Jungkook finally pulled back, his lips brushed against Taehyung's jaw, his voice rough. "Say you don't want this, and I'll stop. Lie to me, if you can."
Taehyung swallowed hard. His hands fisted against Jungkook's shirt. He should say it. He should end this.
But his silence roared louder than any denial.
Jungkook's laugh was dark, bitter with triumph. "That's what I thought."
He kissed him again, deeper this time, his hand sliding to the back of Taehyung's neck, holding him captive in the storm. Taehyung trembled against him, every nerve alight, every fear drowned by a tidal wave of want.
When they finally broke apart, both were breathless.
Taehyung pressed his forehead against Jungkook's chest, his voice barely audible. "You're going to ruin me."
Jungkook's fingers tangled in his hair, tilting his face up. His eyes burned with something dangerous, something that wasn't love but felt terrifyingly close.
"I'll ruin anyone who tries to take you from me first."
The words settled over them like a brand, irrevocable, damning.
And Taehyung knew then—this wasn't the end of the storm. It was only the beginning.
"First touches are rarely gentle when desire has been caged too long. Some fires don't start with warmth—they start with destruction."
