The door to the practice room slid open with a soft hiss, and the sound of sneakers squeaking against the floor barely registered before excited gasps echoed through the room.

"언니!!"

A chorus of cheerful shouts broke out as the younger trainees turned to the entrance, wide-eyed and grinning the moment they recognized her.

"Nara 언니!" Lami was the first to break into a run, followed closely by a few other girls, arms flung wide with childlike joy.

Nara barely had time to set her water bottle down before she was enveloped in warm, eager arms, the kind of welcome that always made her chest ache in the best way. She stumbled back a step from the force of the hug but caught herself, laughing with surprise.

"Whoa-did you all grow taller again?" she teased playfully, ruffling one girl's hair while another clung to her arm.

She wore a soft yellow oversized hoodie and black joggers, her hair pulled into a loose ponytail-casual, approachable, and still glowing with the quiet confidence of someone finally stepping into her own spotlight. Beside her stood her choreographer, Seojin, watching the reunion with fond amusement.

Lami finally pulled away, her hands still clasped around Nara's. "언니, what are you doing here?" she asked breathlessly, eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Nara exchanged a quick look with Seojin before turning back to the group. Her smile widened as she took a small step forward and clasped her hands together.

"I came to ask you all something important," she said, her tone sincerely. "I want you guys to be my dancers for one of the songs in my debut showcase."

There was a heartbeat of stunned silence.

Then-

"정말요?!"
"Us? For real?!"
"Oh my gosh!"

A collective gasp followed by delighted squeals filled the room. Some of the girls literally jumped in place while others covered their mouths in disbelief. The atmosphere shifted instantly into a mix of celebration and awe.

"You've trained with me before," Nara continued, her voice warm. "You know how I move, how I like to dance-and I trust you. I can't think of anyone better to be on stage with me for that moment."

Lami's eyes began to glisten, and she hugged Nara again, tighter this time. "I'm so proud of you," she whispered.

Another trainee chimed in, "We always knew you'd debut, 언니. And now we get to be there with you? This is crazy."

Nara laughed, blinking back the unexpected sting of emotion behind her eyes. "Then it's settled. Let's work hard together, okay?"

The girls nodded enthusiastically, and Seojin stepped forward with her clipboard, already outlining the rough rehearsal schedule.

As Nara glanced around the practice room-the scuffed floor, the mirrored walls, the posters of senior idols still taped to the corners-her heart swelled. These were the spaces she'd cried in, fought in, fallen in love with dance in. And now, she'd be returning here not as another trainee, but as an artist. With people she loved by her side.

She caught Lami's gaze again. The younger girl was still beaming.

"Let's make it unforgettable," Nara said softly.

And the girls, almost in perfect unison, shouted back:

"네, 언니!"
