Mina sat beside you at the table, picking up on your lack of energy as well, "Hey is everything alright, (N/N)? You've been really quiet the last few days..." She glanced at you, picking up some rice from her dish
"Hmm...? Oh um... Yeah everything's fine, don't worry!" You gave a weak, fake smile
The pink girl squinted her eyes at you suspiciously, knowing better when it came to you and secrets,
"Ever since you got back from your work study you've been acting different than your usual self... You and Todoroki didn't get into an argument about it did you? Cause if he yelled at you so help me god I will—!" She whispered
"No, no! Of course not! It's really nothing Mina..." You sweat dropped at the girls potential threat, shaking your hands dismissively.
The girl sighed before placing a hand on your shoulder, "Well whatever is going on you can tell me... I know you're saying it's nothing but I know you better than that! And besides, Kirishima said you guys couldn't talk about anything so I know there's something going on" She said sternly
Your eyes watered lightly, the weight of everything tried to push through you with brute force. You let out a shaky sigh, looking down with regret, "You're my best friend... But I promise... everything is ok"
She looked at the tears building up and pulled you into a hug, breaking your weakened shell, "I'll be here even if you can't tell me right now..." She sighed, brushing your (h/c) hair calmly as you cried silently

Days kept dragging by and with each passing one, you and your fellow work study friends grew more and more antsy.
You sat in your bed, tossing and turning with dread. 'Please find her...' you worried
Your thoughts were quelled by a sudden buzzing of your phone. You glanced over, the notification making your eyes widen.
You stood from your bed quickly, grabbing your phone and exiting your room. On the way out you saw Ochaco, her brunette hair tossed from sleep. You both shared a look, nodding at one another before rushing to the elevator. Once the door opened on the first floor you rushed out to see Tsu and Kirishima already waiting, phones in their hands as well. A sudden dinging of the elevator pulled your attention as Midoriya ran out, spotting the 4 of you in the lobby.
"Alright, you too?" Kirishima said, his red hair now down from his usual spiked style.
"Finally," You nodded firmly, your (h/c) hair tied up in a (h/s)
"We got it," Tsu confirmed
"It's happening" Midoriya glared at his screen
