Chapter 20 |Final Exams

After about a week of studying and cramming in just about anything and everything you had learned from the previous semester, it was now time for the exams to begin.

You and your classmates sat and took the written part of the exams. Thanks to all the studying you did outside of classes and Todoroki's tutoring, you felt pretty confident about your results on the test.

Some of your friends cheered that the written exams were finally done and that the practical exams would be a breeze according to the rumors of robots being used.

Your class changed into their hero costumes and followed Mr. Aizawa down to the training grounds to discuss the rules of the exams.

"Alright let's start with the practicals" he began "don't forget that it's very possible for any of you to fail this exam. So don't screw this up."

"There's so many teachers here for this... 7 or 8 it seems." Jiro mumbled while others nodded in agreement

"You may have asked around about how these exams are conducted, and so you may think you have a vague idea of how this is gonna role-" Aizawa said

You stood beside Mina and Yaomomo as the pinkette and electric boy begin to cheer and shout to your left,

"Hell yeah! It's gonna be a robot rumble just like entrance exams!!!" Kaminari leaned back and stuck his thumbs up while Mina stood beside him pumping her fists in the air,

"Ohhh (L/n) I can't wait for the fireworks! Curry! Oh-truth or dare!" She says to you while lightly elbowing you.

Just as the two teens get excited, their happiness is snatched away by the tiny principle that pops out of Aizawa's scarf.

"Oh not exactly! Due to recent events we've decided to change the way we run the practical exams and its formatting from now on!" Principal Nezu says while shoving Mr Aizawa's head to the side.

"The principal?!" Sero says in shock from behind you

"Change them?" You add to the discussion

"Well you see...the faculty all agreed that we should be focusing more on battles with real flesh and blood opponents, as opposed to the hollow metal ones you've fought before." Nezu explained as he scaled down the side of your home room teacher, using his scarf, "It's vital that our students are taught in ways that are similar to what you'll be facing in the real world."

"As such... you will all be put into groups... and you'll be fighting against one of the teachers before you!" Nezu finally said.

"Wait we're gonna be fighting the teachers?!" Uraraka questions

"Good news is your groups have already been assigned as well as your corresponding teachers. Your battle moves, tactics, grades, and friendships have all been considered to make these tests more effective." Aizawa explained, "So let's get started,"

Aizawa had announced all of the groups and the teachers who would play the 'villains' in each battle. You were placed in a team with Tsu and Tokoyami going against Ectoplasm.

Before your exams the teachers allowed you to meet with your teammates to formulate a plan and discuss different strategies. Given the extra time the 3 of you spent it coming up with tactics you could use against your opponent.
